Hahaha in middle school Maury was my guilty pleasure, then it went to Bad Girls Club/Flavor of Love/Rock of Love in high school, and in college it was Jersey Shore. My guilty pleasure is hands down Ms. Peppa Pig herself. She's SO shady. I swear these shows are teaching these babies to shade young. At this point, I probably enjoy the show more than my nephew does and not an once of shame exists.

My guilty pleasure is RHOA too. That is probably the messiest show I watch, since I mostly watch HGTV and the Food Network channel (yeah I know I'm boring lol).

TWD doesn't really count as a guilty pleasure though does it? I always thought a guilty pleasure was something you were kind of embarrassed to admit. Like enjoying the musical stylings of Jimmy Buffet. Game of Thrones and TWD are so freaking popular like every other person watches.

I won't say I am ever embarrassed by anything I choose to indulge in but I started watching that show in high school, dropped it 2 years ago and just binge-watched season 6-8(current) recently. It is a guilty pleasure for me 'cause I am now grown, the plot is just so sappy and everyone done dated & slept with each other. Vampire Diaries is primarily for a young teen demographic so it's not something I am usually into but I've surprised myself at the fact that I actually like it thus a guilty pleasure lol.
I would have said the same thing 5 years ago, but I've come to a point where I appreciate the way black people speak. It may not be Standard American English, but the way that we communicate is so unique and colorful. That's probably why so many other groups of people are always imitating.
i don't watch any of those "ratchet tv" shows but I do watch clips on IG and I do love me some Cardi B... that chick is funny and crazy AF reminds me of my friends growing up in the hood, down for anything 100% has your back or 100% your worst enemy.
Moheb Ahmadzai the real is a family oriented talk show. she can't curse, she gotta cover up. she will bring young people to watch but this show isn't for teenagers and young adults

Wait, Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead are not guilty pleasures. Those are popular critically acclaimed shows. I like them though. I love Danai Guirara and I can't wait to see her in Black Panther. My guilty pleasures are TV superhero shows like the flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, and sometimes Supergirl. I keep up with that stuff like a real nerd. I also like watching Divorce Court and Paternity Court.
I used to watch some reality TV (RHOA, BFV, Tamar and Vince) but I only watch a episode here and there now. My guilty pleasure now are shows that summarize what's happening in those shows, like Dish Nation, TMZ, etc.
My guilty pleasure is RU-vid DRAMA! I swear, It's better that reality TV! When 2 or more big youtubers go at it, I sit back, grab my popcorn, sip my tea and head for the comment section and look for all the receipts I can find!
