However, if you completely wet your body (whatever method), soap up and rinse off; there's no sweat to mix with anything. More importantly, you can bathe all you want and not clean/ change your sheets regularly and still have the same issues. That's why I was raised to not sit or wear outside clothes on beds.

I think it is about image. My body chemistry makes it to where I can go 3 days without a shower. And I don't smell. I'm fine. I bird bath too. Thing is, I just have really bad mental health that makes it hard to do much, so I guess I'm lucky that I'm okay.
My brother showers 2 times a day and will stink up his bedroom anyway. I shower once, every other day, and don’t smell at all. It’s all about your hormones and diet. Showering multiple times a day also makes your skin extra dry and makes you stink up faster

I saw this episode when it was broadcast on television and was waiting for this segment to be posted. I didn't like the way Tamar was treating Adrienne in this like she was stupid. If she wants to bird bath in the tub then that's her. I doubt she's the only person in the world that does it.

Let's be REAL. Know your body and your level of stank. Unless you're an active person (physically or schedule-wise) or a person who just sweats a lot, there's no need for multiple showers a day. One is fine, and I'm not sure why Tamar was trying to shame Jeannie. Showering in both the morning and night is not better or worse than showering once at night when the only place you've been is in your clean bed. It's all about preference and knowing your body.
You sleep for 8 hours but your body still works and keeps expelling things and odors. So shower in the morning and after coming home from work is the standard. Anything less than that, is nasty.

Here in Tobago we're trained from childhood to bathe (shower) twice a day . We're brought up on the saying that "cleanliness is Close to Godliness" My sis currently bathes my niece twice to three times a day. She says its to train her to be clean when she gets older.

Honestly I started watching the show because I knew Tamera from sister sister, Loni from Chelsea Lately and Adrienne from the Cheetah Girls. My mother had anyways done this. It wanes bet in the morning and gets the day started and helps her sleep better at night. I don't though. Once a day unless I sweat a lot at night. Since I'm pregnant I've been sweating a lot so some mornings I do again.

Some days you just don't feel like showering. If you're gonna sit in the house all day and you're not going anywhere then why shower? Unless you are on your period, then yes you should shower. I feel like if you don't have to go to work, school, to a party, or somewhere important and you're just sitting in the house all day or going grocery shopping then it's okay to skip a shower.

I think there's a lot of reason that depends on how you shower. For example, if you take a shower every day are they long or short? If you shower once a day is it because you shower at night? If you take 3-4 showers a week then are you doing bird baths in between or maybe is it because where you live isn't really hot so you don't sweat or maybe your not active so you don't really get dirty. Or are you skipping one day then shower the next an so forth. Of course, if you go to the gym or get dirty shower again. Also, there are people who have sensitive skin or have eczema so they have to be careful with showering too much. I will say there is a thing when you are overdoing with the showers because even if you put on lotion it is still bad for the skin just like washing your hair too many times dries the scalp and makes your head more oily.

Tbh during school time I don't have the time to take a shower because I have to get my little sister up and take her to her bus and then I only have about 15 minutes to get ready but I don't stink. I go all out the night before and I make sure I don't stink but atleast bathe at night because you've places through out your day.
