I find this conversation so interesting. Is there a cultural reason why so many in the US seem to refer to disposable utensils and plates? I'm curious as that's very different to other cultures. I hope my question will not cause anyone to feel offence.
In vietnam, they sell it in the supermarket like its water (theres a whole aisle devoted it). It comes in the form similiar to rock sugar. I accidentally taste tested straight MSG without knowing it. Let me just tell you. It tasted soo gross! Thought I chemically poisoned myself LOL

darth vader there are white women on every other show on television. This is the only show meant for minorties with all minority hosts. Its so promote diversity. White people are more than welcome to participate, respect and learn about the cultures on the table
Isn't Adrienne white? I don't understand why Adrienne isn't considered to be a white woman. Can't you be latina and white? Someone please explain this to me as I'm from England and Adrienne looks white to me. We have many Spanish people living in England and they are white people . I am so confused by the American classification of races.
Thanks for the explanation Kayla, I think the difference is that in Europe you don't have to have blond hair and blue eyes to be considered white, there are shades of white in the same way that there are shades of black. White people who live in Spain, Portugal and some parts of Eastern Europe sometimes look a bit darker in shade than those from Sweden, Norway etc but are still considered to be white. America has a different criteria I guess. Adrienne would definitely be considered a white woman in Europe.
Totally agree with Tamera, I never throw food out. I eat it even if it's not good. I've learned to appreciate the fact that someone took their time to cook. I've learned it from my dad...
When I eat food and I don't like it, it instantly shows on my face. I frown and then I look up at the person who made it like "why do you deny yourself heaven?"

Lol they all have their thing though. Jeannie with her mom, Tamera and her kids, Adrienne and her bring Latina..(slowly switching to her mentioning her marriage), Loni with her men (use to be drinking) I'm pretty sure everyone has a thing they use to help them in any conversation to keep it going and flowing.
They do, but Adrienne and Tamera insert those connections into every fathomable conversation even when it's completely irrelevant to what they're saying. MOST of the time, Jeannie is making a legitimate point and Loni lies.. I mean, exaggerates, her escapades for comedic effect, so I don't pay her no mind. Tamera especially and Adrienne have made it a skill to relate everything they do to having two kids and being a Latina from New York. The topic could be about why the sky is blue, and they would find a way to insert those things into the conversation. They would find a way.

Adrienne is Dorothy cause she always had problems with men but at the end, like Dorothy, she found the right one. Lonnie is of course Blanche cause she loves men and have nasty thoughts.. (for ex. when Tamara said she swallows...😅) Just the vibes I get lol.
I backed out of our Thanksgiving dinner this year when I found out my sisters were cooking. I told them I'm not eating their trial & error food. Especially for thanksgiving.

India Frederick Tamar's always been a difficult bitter and unhappy woman ready to tear people down. especially she was jealous of Jeannie and her light spirit and beauty.
Agree with Tamera: from my culture, when someone serves food, you have to eat it to show some respect----and no matter how nasty they look or taste---in my case, I never let anyone pick a plate for me, so if the food looks nasty, i just take a spoonful of that dish and try to take one bite to two bites and then there I am showing respect for whomever made the food and spent their time preparing it.
I really try not to hurt people's feelings... I try to push through during dinner so I won't make them feel bad but at the same time if I don't go for seconds then they will automatically know I don't like it... Ugh I hate being stuck in the middle

Adriennes husband clapped back at me on insta gram lol he said Adriennes thanksgiving dinner was so good and that she can cook and I questioned it because she's always saying she doesn't know how to cook and he came back with "actually she does know how to cook" but here she is saying she didn't cook on thanksgiving. Smh lol. I wasn't throwing shade was simply repeating what his wife says all the time. I love Adrienne, too much adobo and all lmao!!
She could have learned...she had 6mths till she cot married. When I got married I didn't tell my husband I couldn't cook...I couldn't even make rice. I printed off tons of recipies from the internet and hid them. When he went to work I cooked from them...he thought he married the best chef in the world...lol. That was 13yrs ago...i've learned to cook on my own since then.
