dammee not all the time though. She probably earns more than some couples. If you are single and have a good job these days you can be just as wealthy as a two income household. I was very much stable as a single girl, I even bought my own apartment with my own money. I achieved a lot before getting married.
My married friends make way more than I do, but I have more disposable income because I don't have the financial responsibilities that they have, with the kids and the bills.
My point is that a couple will likely have the have very similar rent and utilities but two ppl work instead of one. The only difference if the couple has a few children, then their expenses rise as their children get older.
Just because he's a man? No. A man isn't made of money. If he would like to, that's a different story but it shouldn't be considered an obligation or 'gentlemanly' but rather just a kind gesture. It's his money. I would feel a type of way if I was obligated to buy a drink for my man and his friends and it was classed as 'unladylike' if I didn't.
why is it even up to your man to pay? aren't you a working independent woman?? pay for yourself... and if you have a BF then you can both alternate on date or split the bill.... I hate people paying for me ESPECIALLY men... i was raised to depend on myself not others especially since i demand equality for women!!

Honestly, I'm like Loni. If you're my friend and I know you don't expect anything from me, I'm definitely picking up the tab. HOWEVER. Don't expect me to do it everytime, I'm your friend not your parent.
I know this is old but ive bought drinks for friends a few times and never asked for anything in return but if Im short a dollar or two dollars and ask them to help me they always have stank faces and will remind me to pay them back....thats why I dont buy drinks for just anybody anymore lol

This show really needs to work on equality! Coming from a woman's perspective, women can pay for their own drinks! Its really annoying when it's just expected for the guy to pay for his girlfriend. You can split the bill or the girl can pay too sometimes
I fackin feel bad for guys watching this. DONT FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR US. it is not weird at all if you only pay for yourself or you and your girl. I as a girl would be completely understanding. If you have the money to throw around, go ahead. But if a guy went and spent all that money on alcohol i would judge him for spending money poorly lol
It is absolutely unthinkable to assume that someone who offers YOU a drink, is then put on the spot to buy your crew drinks too. That is nothing but rude, inconsiderate and crass. If I offered someone a drink and they then told the bartender what everyone and their mama wanted, I calmly say, "Nevermind", and walk away with my head held high. I can't believe how rude Adrienne is/was. She still doesn't get it.
I say let people do what they want to do with their money. Too many women think they can just control their man's money. If he wants to buy everyone's drinks, who are you to tell him no? They aren't entitled to his money and neither are you. Even if married, all that should matter is if he is taking care of his finances for the couple.
I've met "friends" who are leechers. They continue to expect people to buy things for them, almost like they are entitled to it. Ive learned it the hard way, but diss these people. True friends only wishes for your companionship and your company, nothing more. They would truly care for your wellbeing. Fake friends just want to use you.
I have no issue with a boyfriend or prospective boyfriend buying me a drink. I also wouldn't have an issue if he offered to buy my friends drink. But I absolutely wouldn't tell him that he had to do so.
I think everyone needs a friend like Loni! Not just generous, but also fun, smart, and kind. Everyone needs at least one person like her in their life!
That's really nice of Loni...she is not selfish and appreciates spending time with her friends. If anyone is worried about money (like they cannot participate because they don't have the funds) then it's hard for everyone to have a good time. It's not a requirement, but it's nice to see someone that has the means and enjoys treating her friends to some fun.

I wouldn't expect my man to pay for my girls' drinks, but if he did it wouldn't be mad.... & I've definitely got my girls free drinks at the club before. Especially if a guy is hitting on me & invites me to his VIP section 😂
I don't like it how it's expected of men to pay for girls. Like, obviously it's a good feeling once or twice, but why should he cover like all of my eating, drinking and everything else just because he's a man and we're together? That's like paying for me to be with him. Like when Loni said "they need to get themselves boyfriends to pay for them" that's just sounds so wrong. No, what they need to get is a job, where they can buy their own drinks and not have to worry if somebody else pays for them or not, because they got this. I mean, what the hell.
That's why as a female I carry enough money to pay for myself so this is NEVER a problem for me. And when I don't got the money, I stay home and watch The Real.
jeannie and tamera are so lost in the sauce a ton of girls do this! And a ton of guys offer because they want to impress. And the girls accept because it's free drinks. Satisfying on both ends, lol.
I agree with Adrienne. You have to buy us ALL a drink. I have had no problems with this. The guys ALWAYS pay I rarely have to ask. They do it voluntarily. It is their choice.
If I go out with my REALLY close best friend and her boyfriend. Sometimes he'll pay for my food and obviously I would pay for the movie or the next thing as a thanks. Maybe pay for the drinks while he pays for the food.
I've never even thought about asking a guy to buy my friends drinks too. I don't have balls like that. I don't think it should be a requirement for anyone else trying to pick up a girl either, but it DOES make them look more attractive and like more of a gentleman. Not required, but appreciated. My best friend's husband always pays for me when the 3 of us go out as a group.
