Incredible scene. I remember stoping the movie for a little while, because I was really moved by the music and how it was edited. The perfect song for that powerful scene. Also, it’s great they didn’t show nudity at the end. Just showing only her back, was even more powerful.
This is one of the best movies that slipped by me. So glad I found it. This song is timeless , beautiful and hits me right in the heart - first cuz of Dylan who can't be matched in my eyes - as is the beauty of this Duet and As is the love between these two in this amazing scene Thank you for this !
There is a video of "My Back Pages" on RU-vid which is a great song written by Bob Dylan, with so many stars singing it with him - George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Neil Young, Tom Petty, Roger McGuinn and GE Smith. Bob Dylan is such a talented musician and poet.
When I saw this movie in a theater, I enjoyed it so much I had a smile on my face the entire time. But, this song and scene was the best part. The amazing duet of Cash and Dylan AND the amazing chemistry between Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence...indescribable! I keep coming back to this.
I love this scene ❤️ this movie is just amazing, pat and Tiffany so have this chemistry, I just wish I could've seen more hahah...ugh I want something like this!!!!!
The Director, David O. Russell, chose Jennifer Lawrence for her part by Zoom I believe I read. He chose the stars so well for the movie. Watching the Press Conference of all of them at the Premiere (I think it was at TIFF, the Toronto Film Festival), is very interesting as to how the movie came to be made. It's such a great movie with stunningly great acting and music.
There is a fabulous RU-vid video of Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan singing this song together on the Johnny Cash Show I believe. They thought highly of each other I read. The movie was a real masterpiece - so well cast, acted and directed.
I will admit I saw that duet on Johnny's show. I liked it then, but loved it after seeing the movie and the chemistry between the two of them. Everything was very touching.

The end of this video captures my responses to women perfectly. Fail to kiss her "in the moment". Then realize you love her, and run as fast as you can in the opposite direction because your a 44 year old man stuck with the emotions of a 7 year old. Therefore women scare the living shit out of me. They say I'm a heartbreaker, and I guess I am. But it's only because I will never understand what it feels like to fall in love. Damn if I don't keep trying to though. Fucking human nature bullshit. 😎
Esta movie trata de los problemas psicologicos que la mayoria de las personas tenemos vean la conducta de cada uno de los personajes sercanos a los protagonistas.
It is the Bob Dylan song "Girl From the North Country" in this version in a duet together with Johnny Cash this is track 1 from the 1969 album Nashville Skyline
Who would have picked this tune for a dance song? It was the most criticized track on Nashville Skyline: the most criticized Bob Dylan album of the entire sixties. Nothing by Dylan was of any relevance after the sixties until Time Out of Mind, but this was his first major disappointment. Yet it works perfectly for the scene.
