Oh man, this brings back memories. My mom was having a bad day and she asked me to pick up some pads for her. I must have been 19 at the time and it was so embarrassing. But I sucked in my pride and went to get pads for her. Bill was right, there were 5,000 of those things and didn't know which to get cause some say super absorption or less absorption. I had to call my mom from the cash register to find out which she wanted. There were 2 old ladies there that heard the conversation and said to me your a sweet man to help out your mom. In my mind, thinking oh god, I need to go kill myself. Thankfully, I survived the ordeal. 😂 seeing this video bought back memories. RIP MOM, your sorely missed.❤
😆🤣 I needed that. I'm female and I was embarrassed to go buy them when I was a teen. I've gone from pad to pad. Now that I am old, I wear big girl pull-ups. I'm not embarrassed at all anymore. I'm just glad they make my size. 😂

No need for guys to be embarrassed when asking a woman about feminine products. We know that there is no way for someone who doesn't use them to know as much as someone who does or did at one time. And those of us who grew up in a time when periods weren't talked about as much as they are today admire men who are confident in their masculinity to do this for the women in their lives.
This has to be one of the biggest blunders a mom can make. Dads don't want to admit their daughter is growing up and buying feminine products is daunting enough. Too many products and not nearly enough time to understand what everything does and why it's important.
I remember laughing myself sick when this came out. At that time in my life I had to deal with a lot of cruelty and shaming of girls in general. We didn't ask to have to go through this, but apparently that never occurred to some people. It's even worse if you have a fear of blood, which you better get over. Just be grateful you didn't have to discuss other menstruation products. Pads used to be unnecessarily complicated at one time. Moments like these are a great way to get something you want, but they are reluctant to give you. Okay, but if I do this I get a [beverage] when I get home while I watch [TV/ movie/ video game.]
My ex wasn't shy about it at all. Years into our relationship for some reason he kept bugging me about my need for a personal pleasure device. Honestly I have no idea where that came from. So, after enough comments I told him to go to the local porn store and pick one out and surprisingly he did. I wasn't expecting that.
I did that for a lady once. To show just how naive I was at the time, I went there HOPING that they would carry something like that. Selection wise, it was a very similar situation to the one Bill was describing. At some point, a female employee came over and offered her input. I'm still grateful for that.
@@ronclark9306 Ron you're a brave and caring man. I never thought about the amount of choices. I don't know if he asked for help but what he chose did not come across as a best seller. At least it was my favorite color and the thing I found funny is it was smaller than himself. Again this is something I did not request. Humans are definitely interesting beings.
