I call bullsh*t! Reads as a fake story. Usually, one doesn't describe one's own actions as "it was so sweet of us." The story details are also confused and inconsistent - who bought the mystery dress - you or the parents? And dyslexia may be the only thing this person could think of, but it's not a "challenge" in the way autism often is, unless everybody was wearing sandwich board signs --- Hahahaha!.

That's a very cruel thing to say. Cast members may be paid to portray the characters, but their interaction is genuine. And the girl got the best of both worlds. She got to see a princess with Cinderella, and she found a friend in the bride.

When someone says that someone is “living with autism”, it implies that it is a sickness or that we are suffering from it. Which is not true at all- and the implications have negative impacts on the autistic community. It is just better, and more widely accepted, to say “autistic person”! As that is what we are. Our autism makes us who we are and it is a part of us, so it is just best to use proper phrasing. ✨

Having a disability isn’t a positive thing, in fact, it sucks, and calling it “special” doesn’t make it suck any less.
