the guy I dated in highschool had a bodyguard, I always ask him to ditch him at least a block away from our house so my dad won't see. Standing you up is a no brainer. But the calling you "friend" is a big one. I had this happen to me and did not know how to handle it, but it is a huge red flag she is "dating" you out of boredom, loneliness and has no real interest in you. She does not want people to know you are dating and thinks if you are "friends" she can walk away from it easily. It is basically telling people "I am not "with" him even though I am with him right now."

If someone doesnt show up to a date at a restaurant that's not a subtle sign, that's a no brainer. A lot of these feel pretty obvious to me, if someone sends me one word texts, no matter who, I either think they're dumb and don't have the mental energy to come up with more or are just plainly not interested at all.

Some of these are perfectly understandable signs. But some of these also strike me as callous, inhumane, marks of poor breeding. Even though you may not be attracted to a guy, you may want to check on him if he's ill, assuming you're friends. Keeping your face turned away or folding your arms also is rude. You can be friendly and accommodating toward the guy without necessarily intending to be intimate with him. Standing up the guy doesn't simply indicate that the woman isn't interested; it suggests that NO GUY should get involved with her, as bad behavior tends to creep in many different situations, regardless of who the guy is. Still, you offer guys a service by featuring telltale signs a woman isn't interested.

I thought being flaky and non-committal was a female characteristic in general, but it looks like I was wrong. I've seen a lot of these in the women I've approached and tried to date. This has made me think it is more of a general characteristic. My partner and I have a female friend or two that behaves in most ways like the vid describes. And if that's how they act with supposedly friends, I imagine those trying to date would find it even more difficult. Fishing: throw the bait out there, real it in. If the fish chases the bait but doesn’t catch it, go ahead and throw the bait a second time in the same direction. If no bite, then go throw the bait in a new direction. Don’t waste your time. At some point, if no fish are interested, you might look at changing your bait to something more attractive. The very last thing you want to do to is jump in and swim around trying to chase the fish. At that point you would have been better off to go to the fish market and buy one.

I really appreciate your content, but especially this particular video. I want to make sure that I respect people's boundaries, autonomy and feelings etc. but I've struggled all my life with figuring out how to do it. I'm recently diagnosed as autistic and severely ADHD, so finding clear instructions in a digestible format like this is truly a lifesaver. @@andyc9902 I will continue to say weird things though. I'm not normal, I never will be and I don't want to. I want to express myself as the weird person I am and be genuine and true to who I am, but I want to understand people better, be better at noticing and respecting boundaries (both my own as well as other's) and supportive of the needs of others and my own. Being sheltered from differences of behaviour, neurodivercity and opinions isn't a need, it's a preference, and I won't put on a mask between others and my genuine self any longer. It ruined my health before and I'm not doing that again. Her advice is helping me express my weird self genuinely and helping me get my strange message across about how I feel and who I am in a manner that is better understood by others, while still respecting myself and others. I won't take part in anything based on ABA therapy (conversion therapy really) or similar methods of getting us to lie for the sake of the comfort of neurotypical society. Why should my health crumble as a sacrifice to the comfort of neurotypical people? I'm weird and I'm proud and I say it out loud. We should all be able to live together in society. It takes all sorts to make up a whole world. You do you and I hope you'll have an excellent day. Know thyself and to thine own self be true.

Thank you! Makes so much sense now 😔. I been working with this lovely and nice lady. I bought her a gift and even asked if we could chat for a bit. She said of course, but she is so quick to run out of the room when there's a chance to talk. So I planned an office party for hopes she would join us and chat. When I went to ask her to join, wow she acted like she was holding back tears honestly I felt she was mad, then she lied about being busy, then came very late grabbed some food. Then left with minimal conversation with anyone not just me. It's really unfortunate 😕 to the point I don't think it would be wise to even ask her for her number now. All I wanted to do was see if we could be compatible. Not like I was being a jerk with cheesy one liners or bugged her too much.

It happen to me only twice in my life. One at the restaurant, and one at the 🎥. I moved on. A month later, both of them contact me at different times, but I already move on. Yes, flakey/flakes out, been there seen that several times. I pretty much didn't have to see this video. I have become somewhat of an expert at this. I think women in general are flakes. I honestly can't tell you how many times I've been talking to a woman in text, and eventually I get ghosted. I got stood up once and it seems that since then, that's all I get. What really ticks me off though is when you meet a woman, she seems really eager to get your number, and says she's interested, and then within a week, nothing! I don't text first (mostly). But I do it to everybody lol. since im really not very keen on using my phone. i check it at least once or twice a day. a lot of women I know (including my sister) easily get turned off on a guy (even if they're officially dating) because of some reasons i could barely understand at all. But it's mostly these reasons why women lose interest. 1. guy is too arrogant to listen ( it's all about him, he talks about himself. and never really showed interest in knowing the woman) 2. they are very aggressive and too forward ( women, especially the introverted and shy ones takes a little time to get comfortable) 3. they show signs of disinterest ( they reply in one word, always busy to take the call, and prefers to hang out with other guys) 4. They get too comfortable too soon ( they just spill everything and expecting her to take everything all in.. sir, I am not your psychiatrist) 5. they skip the friendly part ( we need to be friends first before you get all touchy-feely) 6. they said something offensive ( looked down or made fun of her beliefs, values, hobbies, and basically things she considers important) I know it's a two way street but most men are unaware how their words are sometimes too crass, they forget they are talking to a woman not their buddy.

I, also, am familar with these signs. It happens frequently. But I am also confused. There is this lady that does not do any of these things stated here.... Big smile and a long hug when greeting me. Open stance when talking to me. She frequently intiates first contact with me. Displays none of what you have said here... And yet only considers me as a friend. Actually, there are two ladies that do that with me. But having a date with me....NOPE! They will dance with me without hesitation, so I guess that counts for something..... (Unfortunately, the first is moving to Croatia at the beginning of next year, and the second one is married.

I am not crazy about online dating but this is why online dating can be wonderful. I mean if she us going to play around and not text. You back and be short with you, then I will just go back online and meet someone else. My advice to any guy out there would be to not get hung up or fixated on one girl. I mean while she's giving me the cold shoulder and such I will have already met someone else , plus by ignoring her then she's going to be more interested in you.

She kisses me, buys me cake for my birthday, hugs me, flirts with me, body to body touching but at night she disappears. I call her, her phone is either on DND or she sends me to voicemail. My phone been off for past week so I haven't talked to anyone. She sees me at work and says she's been hitting me all week. So I call her that night, straight to voicemail. Idk what's going on. It's cool if u have someone but why won't u tell me? Why strong me along and you know I'm in love with you. This is so painful.

I'm still not sure if my crush likes me the same way as I like her because she shows pretty big signs of both liking me in that way & bit really being into me, in person she shows signs that she likes me back the same way, but in chat she doesn't, she is still only in early puberty & legally a bit to young for me however, so in the time i have to wait before i can tell me crush that i like him (he's actually born as a girl but he's trans, he's comfortable in a female body but wants male pronoun (& i really respect that (took me a bit of time though)) but back to the main topic) in that way, so pretty much anything can still happen

I‘m a woman. My BFF whom I‘ve known now for 5years has always been in love with me and I‘ve always made myself clear about me not wanting to have a romantic relationship with him. He was anoyingly ressistent about not leaving his thoughts or he always believed or still believes we belong together. Now I‘m not sure about my feelings. On one hand I can imagine him being with another woman and be very happy for him/them and also can‘t see myself being happy being together with him(l‘m not attracted or never have been attracted to him). On the other hand he‘s my bestfriend and knows me better than anyone and I trust him with my life. Now I have to tell him for sure my decision. Please help me. Can you give me your perception??

Try to fix him up. Well, not exactly, but give him your blessing that you want him and another lady to be happy together and make it clear that you believe this is best. IDK. It's just what I'd want if I were in his shoes. Maybe start subtlety like by saying that another girl is cute or nice when you both are out together. Encourage him to chat with her. Try to direct him to other girls in an low-keyway.

Being cold is a sign of a jerk no matter the gender. It simply signals quality of character. 'Getting it on' shouldn't be the only thing that drives a relationship. Man or woman.
