We were saying that this tanks are not fun playing games this is real life war machine that you can die And what I mean sports.. is they ' play ' the tanks and think they won't die and not taking it seriously... also fun fact the tiger they had for this scene came form a museum. the museum gave the crew i think 24 hours with the tank before they took it back and took the engine and other parts to make it move out. cause if i remember right its one of the last few intact tigers left.
Correct, this is Tiger 131 from the Tank Museum at Bovington, Uk. This is the only fully functional Tiger 1 in the world. But the engine part is false. On Tiger day, they bring out Tiger 131 to show off to tourists, tank nerds and everyone at Bovington.

yeah they really had to set up the last tank being spotted first, because it had tropical camo, + yellow vertical stripes. it was a much brighter target in a fog filled, overcast day. you see the day clearing up soon after they start backing up. Fun fact! Petersons tank was also 76mm.@@huntert9135
@@cr90captain89probably not still because a common misconception is that the normal m4 sherman’s 75 millimeter gun can’t penetrate the tiger I on its front plate or its sides. it actually can. the british cromwell tank had a 75 cannon that was slightly better than the m4 sherman’s and yet, at a close enough range, it can split the tiger in two through its front plate. the same is found with the american 75. the 76 long barrel was the most effective at dealing with tigers because it allowed for greater penetration at a longer range so you didn’t need to get as close to the tiger to penetrate its armor but it is very possible for a normal m4 sherman to get close enough to a tiger to do that; especially in this scene since the m4 has a gyro stabilizer that makes it far more accurate when shooting on the move while the tiger does not. in reality, if an actual tiger vs. m4s battle happened like this, with both moving towards each other, the m4s would absolutely wreck the tiger.
I like how at the end Maho was the only one crying when the Germans were being shot, I think she saw her own crew in that moment... and the commander as her... Nice little detail 👌🏾👏🏽👏🏽
another part of it is when they get the sick feeling when they see the Tiger 1 shoot a mans head off... the girls just witnessed the true power of the 8.8cm KwK 36. as much as it hurts me to say this but..... tanks like the Tiger 1, T-34/85, M4 Sherman, Type 90 Ha-Go, Churchill, and the Panzer 4..... are not toys.... these are real tanks that were designed to kill...... and yet in the show they take them for a sport.... btw they were given *LIVE* Ammo.... like H.E rounds, A.P rounds, and H.E.A.T rounds..... and in das Final the main team we are cheering for use their Machine guns.... ok if one of the girls was standing out of the armored turret then the chances of getting shot would be very high... so the girls need to know the truth behind their *"sports equipment"*

@@christianasiata4485 i do love the show but there comes a time when the truth must be told. Also one of the tanks in this show is a KV-2..... A DAMM FREAKING TANK WITH A HOWITZER AS A GUN....... And in der film we saw what a shell from it could kind of do..... Also tbe Karl which is a Mortar.... And we saw what ot was able to do.... And yet they use these tanks as a from of Sport. Then there was the American T-28... So this show had 3 tanks that were able to wipe a tank crew off the face of the Earth.....

And it might be them realizing that their sport equipment were actually killing machines before… and don’t get me started on their school carriers which are oversized WW2 Aircraft Carriers, Graf Zeppelin, Shoukaku and Aquila just to name those three, while the French have an oversized Submarine/Cruiser, the Surcouf. Those carriers are bigger then the INFINITY from Halo, just to give so perspective on their size.

The Tiger had a standardized 88mm KwK which was so effective it was still used in the ausführung B version, Königs Tiger, the Tank itself had many problems but due to its high armor , once it was on the field it took T34 and M4 shermans apart like scrap metal, so its both the tank and the gun that are why this tank is the most known of all WW2 tanks
@@someone-om8dn most known but fairly unknown downside is that it has no spare parts and it breaks down quite frequently and also the downside of a 76mm being able to straight thru the front
@@slushy6735 id contribute those factors as a fault of the era it was built in & the technology available. plus that was a factor in all tanks of the time, USA & USSR had a lot of tanks breaking down but they manufactured so many that they would be repaired, or in the unions case completely replaced off of the factory line. Britain was a hodgepodge of weird ideas, & the French........ were the French. everybody had problems, its a miracle that Germany was producing Tigers early in the war while everyone else was getting their sh-t together. if a tiger was rebuilt using modern electronic equipment, ammunition & metallurgy techniques, it would once again become the king of tanks. no need for 120mm cannons when an 88mm with the right ammo can deliver the same result for cheaper. (less weight means a more maneuverable tank, which means faster speed/ time to get out of enemy fire)
Realistically speaking, that Tiger tank would not have moved from its position. Not only would most of its front have been covered by dirt due to being in a moat, but also because it is easier to fire while stationary. Additionally, they would have most likely targeted the lead tank instead of the rear one, or the tank with the better armament.
this movie is good but all the tactics used by the German tank crew during the 2nd world war were overturned by the hollywoobs, the M4 should have been the first one, then the last one, and moreover the tank tiger is having the advantage of hiding in the bushes there is no reason why they have to move out that makes them lose their advantage and one more thing the leading M4 is equipped with a 76mm smoothbore cannon with equipping that cannon was enough to make them the first target to be shot, but in the movie it was completely ignored until all the other 3 M4s were annihilated. I guarantee that any former WWII tankman who sees this film will be furious with the director who made the film.
Also one thing the tiger they fought some how only had three crew and there's only one tiger which is odd because tigers would always be operating in brigade consist of 3-4 tanks if not they will always be supported by ground troops seeing that lone tiger sitting there was really odd

Always hated this scene, what a waste. Fury was an Easy 8, the gun was able to cut through a Tiger's frontal armor. The other two were destroyed for no damned reason. Was a real tiger though, 131 from Bovington. First time since WWII a real tiger was in a film

real life fact the sound of a tiger tank firing was so loud that you had to keep your mouth open to have your ears okay also at the moment the tiger tank hitted the fury tank with a shell if it was REALLY realistic the tank would have died
Those are big browning guns. That bullet if given, should've knocked some body parts of the german crew and tor multiple holes in the Tiger Commander's chest. Machine Guns are worst than a tank shell. You will see limbs thrown and torn.
Don't get me wrong here but that tiger would have won easy irl 5v1 fury is the only tank to actually do something to it a 700 years and fury is in the front regardless the tank up front will get took out and then the last one to box them in and cut them down after that and don't move forward back up if needed I know cause a I have my grandfather's ww2 tank notebook that he wrote down all of the best tactics from the legendary black baron and used his tactics and took out tank left and right against the ussr
