Well done Chavez! It's great to see him back to winning form. To top it off, his stage victory will partially hide the mediocre performance by the MS squad. And S. Yates will show more respect for other GC contenders. If Nibali can't get rid of Roglic during Saturday's stage, then he will end the Giro in 3rd place.

excellent studio talk today on the mentality and character of GC riders..a very knowledgeable host Orla Chennaoui, Brian Smith and with Sir Bradley you're always gonna get some extra insight on cycling on the top-class level.

Yeah which is why I was shocked Nibali closed the gap with Carapaz on his wheel to Roglic. Why didn’t he make Carapaz close it and then attack over the top?

He should have attacked on the decent of Montirolo - attacking today is useless he needs more than 10 s and tmr is a bigger day for GC..

Quinten Akkerman what’s the general etiquette for attacking when another ride has a mechanical? Like it’s not like they can jus stop stop and wait for him, since the peloton is closing on then. But I do remember something about it not being considered allowed to attack if the pink jersey had a mechanical. Is that just for the pink jersey?

Is it just me or the giro this year looked way boring than last year? I mean where are the mountain stages where the GC guys destroy the field and makes up massive time. How many attacks were here this year? and everyone is just following and relying on the time trial at stage 20. Looked like a very boring GC to me.

@@htdtr , he is not the main commentator , he is there for his knowledge of racing and if you listen to him he has great insight ( I know his Irish accent is quite strong though )
