Another "Absolute Minimum" video!!! This time for using Git in Spacemacs (and technically in emacs too) using the excellent magit plugin. I go over working with branches, committing changes, pushing and pulling, and a few extra topics.

Hei, thanks a lot for the videos, please do some more! It would be greate for e.g. how to sync/backup orgmod files with auto push on git, or better google calendar.. or orgzly, how to use spacemacs as default editor so some advanced workflow/keybindings. Thanks!!

Awesome, I have an request which also might be useful for developers - How to setup autocomplete/linting/refactoring using lsp-mode and if possible how to use it via tramp. I guess the current dev branch has lsp layer. The reason for lsp is, I think its the future interface for most of these auto complete plugins.

Are you using emacsclient ? If so I found a weird bug that it won't go to fullscreen and the modeline will be different (straight separators not curved). To fix that have to do SPC f e R to sync config, that fixes it.

Excellent! Just one question: is it possible to get the Magit C-x g status in a different buffer? I like working on my documents in whole buffers (just one window), but everytime I call Magit it subdivides the bugger to accommodate the window for Magit. Thanks!

Good video production, but I use many of the other commit options all the time. I did a video today on magit forge, defiantly worth checking out if you use gitlab or github.
