That emotional look of "god damnit why couldn't I do that the first time" was just heart wrenching. I remember those days powerlifting in HS. Failing 2 of our 3 attempts on a deadlift of 525lbs at regionals ripped my heart out. When I finally got the 3rd attempt up and locked out it felt so good but I was so mad at myself.
@@Aramil4 We didn't in the competitions I took part in, but it was more of a morale thing. Like failing to hit my mark, a mark that in practice I had hit multiple times before, two times in a row took my heart out. The last try, the one that got me on to the next round, was just pure brute force and anger pulling it off the ground. I was furious at myself that I didn't hit it, and emotionally it took a lot out of me. The following round jumped from 525 to 535, and unfortunately after the 525 lift I just couldn't get my mind right and failed all 3 on the next round. Something that day inside me broke emotionally because I thought i was stronger than that. No excuses or anything on my part, it just wasn't my day to get it done. Both at 525 and 535.
@@Aramil4no but I believe that if the first attempt is successful you can add weights to make a better score. she was frustrated it took 3 tries to get her starting weight up
@@marionnikol hi mommy do u power lift? U are very attractive with those striking blue eyes. Not as attractive as the girl in this video but not bad don’t worry I hope u liked my comment hehe
@@supernoodles908 he meant relative to the world. But most italians are non exostent in strength sports. Then suddenly a year ago at europes they rose
No, failure is literally the opposite of success. You can fail and try again and achieve success though. Dont let failing or the fear of failure stop you from success in the future. Also dont buy into stupid inspirational quotes that dont even make sense lol
@@gannahsherifyap, but i that think tha who they intended is, in italian, for man u should use "bravo" for women is "brava". obv in those case that doesnt matter, but i hope that's a good clarification ;)
I love RU-vid so much because the comments are usually supportive under videos like these. It’s so cool to see support coming in from around the world!
@@wesley_snipes Actually, people would support more if the lifter was a man. When it's a woman and someone praises them, everyone calls them a simp and there's a handful saying how 'easily' a man can do it.
@@marbuki5602 but how does he know she wanted to cry? looked nothing like it to me. never seen anyone cry for failing to lift a weight, even in a competition
@@-demo.face- so because some people cry you can assume that she was about to cry? some people get heart attacks when they work hard so I guess I can say that she was about to get a heart attack but barely survived.
I dont inderstand why she wasted her firsy 2 attempts when clearly she can lift the weight, like she showed in her last attempt. Why didnt she just do it on the first so she could have more attempts at at a heavier weight and not expend unnecessary energy
I bet your mum and dad would be glad to hear that !😂 People just don't know how to express their admiration and so they come up with dumb shit like that. "It's everything to me". 🤡
@@Barkmann94 and why did the technique change Einstein ? because she found that inner strength, a peaceful state of determination where everything went right. she found that clarity, that small change because of this power. @@98redd83 depends on who you ask, its supposed to stabilize and limit movement around the joint, but in practice the efficacy is questionable. also tape on thumbs is common for hook grip.
this is what sports is about, people from the USA, Germany, Brazil, everyone, literally everyone got happy for her. Sports isn't all about winning, it's about leaving people thinking you're an example.

The fire in this girls belly is palpable. One of my favorite athletes to watch. There are so many amazing women competing right now and this channel covers it masterfully. It’s cool to see how far they have come and the access they have received to get up close and personal.
Same, I have never given my all/best in anything I do. That's my biggest obstacle, dancing, music and education I have always done just enough for me to be a bit more than average but I do have a yearning to be one of the best, at least to see my full potential.
You have to have a strong mind to overcome two failed attempts. It really shows how everything you accomplish starts as a positive thought in your mind.
The sheer focus….commitment…and……resilience it’s refreshing to see it on another person trying to accomplish something of their liking. The face cam over was awesome just being able to see the determination in the eyes. How I feel when I succeed in my new maxes when I lift.
She did the 3rd so flawlessly. Also she’s so beautiful too, very strong but still very feminine at the same time. Also the 3rd one that she made it with also was slightly heavier, so it must have been a mindset thing
My elders use to say "try a hundred times and say you failed. It is acceptable. but not trying once and considering yourself as failure. That is a mistake."
That is true, I don't lift or go to gym but I was moving furniture when I read a news article about a 12-year-old girl who was raped by 40-year-old man. It made me so pissed and full of adrenaline that the heavier furniture suddenly wasn't all that heavy lol. Anger is definitely powerful.
@@hanac5586 Yeah same here except I do workout, one time I heard about some guy beating up dogs and stuff like that, and it also made me full of adrenaline and got me pissed so I did a workout and it was so unbelievably easy compared to usual.
@@zomatic7279 Yep, and workout is a great way to unravel the anger! Although I remember hearing it's not recommended to exercise while angry because it apparently increases the risk of a heart attack 😦
