Nice! This song went viral and got Babymetal international notoriety. The video is from Legend 1997 show for Su-metal’s 16th birthday (Dec 2013). The audio is the studio version. Su looks like an annoyed big sis having to put up with her 2 rambunctious sisters playing pew pew 🤣. Probably being extra Diva-ish due to not having their chocolate, lol! This part of the choreography has evolved and became more fun over the years. And resulted in many photos of Moa poking Su’s ears as part of her goofy stage antics while on tour lol 😂.
That´s the song that blew up on YT in early 2014. It´s from the "Legend 1997 Apocalypse Su-Metal Seitansai" live concert in 2013, but studio audio dubbed over it. The guys in the skeleton onesies are the "Baby Bones", actors pretending that they are playing the instruments. Later on in this concert the Kami Band joins our ladies to play the 3 song encore live, closing the concert with the most death metal 😉 performance of "BABYMETAL Death". That one will blow you away, promise!
Nice one. Yes this was the studio audio dubbed over the live performance ... and you are a year younger than Yui and Moa who were both 14 - this was at Su's 16th birthday party (legend 1997 in December 2013). The "Parapapa" parts are among the very few parts in their songs that are always played on the backing track. They just want chocolate🍫give them all the chocolate🍫🍫🍫 In Japan on Valentine's day (or around then) traditionally females give chocolate to all their male friends ... BABYMETAL are fighting back, they want the chocolate! (That may or may not be the case, but the tradition is real I believe). You could watch their first two music videos - 'Doki Doki Morning' (recorded Oct 2010, video made nearly a year later) and 'Iine' (that is iine pronounced ee-neh and it means 'so good' like a thumbs up emoji👍) ... they were 12, 11 and 11 when they recorded 'Doki Doki Morning'.
GIVE ME 🍫! For your next BABYMETAL reaction I recommend a change of pace: Akatsuki Unfinished version, also from the Legend 1997 concert. Just Su-metal, a piano, a microphone and all the emotions in this world the moment before the idol is transformed...
I misspoke the song Masquerade of Madness is only a single. Conspiracy is a different album altogether. I apologize for the mix up. However, Sleepless Nights, Live is a good King Diamond video to react too. That song is on the Conspiracy album. The video was recorded @ Fillmore, Philadelphia. Please check out both songs.
Congrats to 300 subscribers. The song is about a young girl wanting to eat chocolate, but also worrying about her weight. The lyrics are very cute, or should I say kawaii
Yes, they celebrate Valentine's Day in Japan....but it's different. The girl gives chocolates to the boy they like (not the other way around!) or just to their friends, then there's like obligatory chocolate too. 1 month later, there's White Day, where the boy reciprocates to give a gift to the girl....as far as I understand it.
