The thing is AB gets the settlement as prescribed by the authorities which is our, the tax payers money. This computerised search record system means that rather grumpy people who have been searched and not arrested will be descending on the remaining police public foyers and demanding their records. A system that previously required police officers to handwrite a form on a duplicate pad now requires them to enter data on a screen, a process they appear to struggle with and for the foyer staff to search for and print the resulting record. The staff seem very slow either because of poor training or perhaps bad technology. Sometimes they appear to retaliate against members of the public for being grumpy by making them waste their time in the foyer waiting for the form to be printed. A person who has been searched and not found wanting is actually not guilty of any crime so why do they get such poor service from the police? On this occasion the foyer staff was polite and friendly and should not be blamed for the failings of the system.

Noticed the sign in the station lobby said “no filming or photography”. However, several of the posters on display had QR codes 🤔

Mate you need to audit the Bet365 HQ in Stoke On Trent. They go insane about cameras and you can walk all around the place without setting foot on their property as there's a canal towpath along the rear.
