Love your knitting channel and look forward to your episode’s. I live in the UK and use a lot of Drops yarn. It is a great price and knits up lovely but just a small warning if using the alpaca. Make sure that you wash and block your swatch as it does grow a fair bit! 😘😘😘

It is always a pleasure to knit as I watch you two bubbly knitters. I sure can feel the seasonal gap though, while you present winter sweaters, here, in Montrea, Canada, we have a heat wave 33 degree celcius, with the humidity factor it feels like 41 degree celcius ... I get how you must feel most of the time being from the southern hemisphere while watching northten hemisphere podcasts. Yet, this is just perfect as we should all be knitting for next season if we want to fiinish our knits just on time for the right temperature. Thanks for bringing so much joy and sparkle with your podcasts.

Awww you guys!! I recently moved from Australia to the US and then I found your channel. It's so cozy to listen to your Aussie accents when I'm now surrounded by a foreign accent. Also you're making me envious of all the gorgeous Aussie merinos, whereas I should probably get excited about the brands that I can access here but not back home! Another great podcast! Always feel like I’m sitting & knitting with friends! I was laughing out loud about Paige’s cuffs & the look/comments Sarah gave when Paige said she might rip them both back! I also loved Sarah’s story about picking up her brother at the airport as payment for him hauling yarn over for her from the UK! Hilarious! I’ve also never knitted with Drops (I’m in the states 🇺🇸) it’s funny what we all consider “luxury” based on what’s available (or not) in our area. I purchased West Yorkshire Spinners sock yarn for Xmas last year & had it shipped from the UK as a treat to myself - it’s now my favorite sock yarn & I’m sure knitters over there probably find it pretty basic! 🤷‍♀️ Paige, I have to ask about your ribbon vest! I am working on a colorwork vest, too, but it’s been on time-out here as it’s hit 90 degrees (F) this week & I can only seem to work on socks if anything in this heat… Living vicariously while you ladies have the sweaters, mittens & hats going! I get so excited every time I see a new video from you guys! I love both your FOs, they turned out so well done! Sarah, for the Jules genser, have you heard of Lori's twisty bind off? I used it recently for my current WIP, sweater no 9, and apparently it's a less flared alternative of Jenny's stretchy bind off. Paige, for the September hat, if you try again in future, I highly recommend using the old Norwegian cast on that Inga from Knitting Tradition swears by. I use it on 2x2 ribbing for hats and cowls and it's stretchy but snaps back into shape nicely. Have a lovely time in Tasmania, Paige ❤

I knitted a Tolsta Tee, I made it 3/4 sleeves using Kinross 4 ply in a beautiful green colour called Seaweed. Everything Rebecca and Vanissia ( The woolly worker) have said about Kinross after you wash it is SO true!! You're going to love it :) Thanks again !

Really enjoy your channel!!! But one suggestion for improvement, when you show something eg yarn, stitch markers etc up close to the camera please hold it there for longer. You guys have inspired me to stop buying yarn for a bit and allot my yarn budget for the next wee while to some Kauri yarn seeing as I'm already right here in Aotearoa ☺ Oh and handy tip, kauri is pronounced a bit like "Cody" because the 'kau' is pronounced as 'koh' and the r is rolled (sorry if that was overbearing!!)

The Noro yarn is so lovely and I've been very tempted by their yarns but I get a bit bamboozled by all their different bases. I think when I finally make a trip to Little Woollie I will pick some up after feeling it in person.

The intro was so cute. 😇 Your FOs are GORGEOUS! Something you could try for your mohair only projects next time is doing the rib with a strand of light fingering wool (or even lace weight) for increases elasticity and structure. Also check out the 1/2 Jenny's Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off which is essentially adding a make 1 on every other stitch as you cast off. It makes the end result about 1/3 looser than it would have been without and is my go to method when I'm worried about a tight bind off. Weirdly, I absolutely love it when my wool smells like sheep or even when there are bits of hay spun into the strands.... 😬 I think it's delightful. Anyway, I love your podcast. Two Purls in a Pod is one of my vary favorites.

Not to further enable you, but Wool Warehouse is amazing and does shipping to Aus for about $15. I've been influenced by Rebecca Clow to try some Cascade 220 and Drops yarns that I've got from Wool Warehouse. And BWM keep putting out new stuff... I'm stashing faster than I can knit (I blame attempting to study for exams!).

The garments you are both wearing are so beautiful! I immediately started searching for that Noro yarn here i Norway... 🙊💸😂 Re adding shortrows below the lace yoke, this is really easy. Sari N often does it in her lace patterns. You start turning by the first stitch you cast on under the sleeves and add 2-3 sts every time you turn. You stop once you reach the last stitch cast on under the sleeve. This way the turns are under the arm, so even though you don’t get them even, people can’t see them. ☺️

You’ve inspired me to give a zipper a shot. In cardigans I don’t like the buckling/bump stick out visual that a zipper (maybe a long zip effect?) can cause. Very nice sweater! Your cuff issue in the lovely lace top and the bulkier sweater from last episode…I’ve ripped back a cuff or two before but you’re not considering that I guess. Doing so really made me happier. I just added short rows below the yoke in a Love Note. Seems like it worked and was easy. Fingers crossed. I used Mostly Knitting’s recent tutorial and one from Knittingthestash. Whew lovely cable and texture on the kal!

Sarah, have you tried using the ribbed cable cast off for sleeves and hems? It’s elastic and round and way easier than the Italian bind off. Also using larger needle (up to 2 to 3 sizes up on your working needle) to cast off helps. Good luck, stunning g sweater.

I wanted to be part of the KAL but I don’t think my skills are there yet. I tried swatching and was so confused by the direction of the symbols in the pattern. And gave up.

You know what, join anyway with a simple cardigan if that’s what you want. Not gonna lie I found getting started with all the symbols really overwhelming, and it’s really complicated from the get go. So don’t be disheartened

Lovely knits! I am not sure if the filter you used was on purpose but not easy to watch you both and yarn colorways in such a halo effect filter. Please consider reverting back to your original filter.
