Dear Sarah, you are not a “diminished format”, this was a pleasure to watch! Congratulations on your stunning, divine Bookclub cardigan! Oh my! That yarn does look incredible. Beautiful wips and the skirt- twirly and girly perfect! Enjoy!
Very fun episode! I had my colors done quite a few years ago by a professional color analyst. It was not based on the seasons or pinning a specific title on a person, but focused on what colors work for each individual. One of the interesting things the analyst said was that most people's colors change about every 10 years. Skin tone changes, hair darkens or lightens, and the colors that looked great on you years ago may not work as you age. Just a thought....
This rocks!!! I’m for sure going to try this. I think if you hammered the wire (similar to jewelry hammering) it would keep the shape perfectly and wouldn’t be so bendy. Hammering gives structure and strength to wire ❤
you should call these videos where its just one of you "one pea in a pod" hihi! great to see you and i was so shocked when you pulled out a Bold Purple knit until i understood it was a camera/lighting thing 😂
So good to see your finished bookclub! I'm so proud of mine as well, it's by far the most intricate thing I've ever made! That skirt is gorgeous too, I might need to make one of those for summer 😊
Sorry that was a bit of an aside that I should have explained more. I mentioned in an earlier episode that I've just started working in a prison and security is very particular about what you can bring in. Just an unexpected challenge in my knitting journey.
Hi Sarah, lovely catching up with you, even if Paige couldn't make it! I hope I manage to get my hands on some of the possum yarn one day, it looks wonderful. And your scarf with the unspun yarn looks really snuggly!
Hey Sarah, It was so much fun seeing you talk about the almost black yarn when it appeared as the loudest purple 😝 Still enjoying the Beautiful Cables Coalition and have just done a mid block on my BCC before casting on the button band. I should have enough to do the double knit version now that I have bought 3 (?) extra balls of Ulysse and am so looking forward to wearing it this winter (the ups of knitting with mohair in summer 😇) I squealed for Paige to send the right vibes through the universe 🥰
You did a wonderful job by yourself, it reminds me of your earliest videos! I love how you took the time to go into details about your knits and your dress (lovely by the way!).
hi Sarah, i am so happy that you did a podcast on your own as I didn't want to wait till Paige got back, lovely to see your Book club cardie finished, can i recommend that you look at Joji Locatelli cable cardigans, i made the Grandpa cardigan during lockdown modified the shawl collar to deeper as on many of the ravelry projects. it is big a squishy and delicious. I did it in Skeinz Black pearl yard in a charcoal and it is a recycled blend of alpaca and merino and it is the best!
Hello! You guys are my favorite knitting podcast at the moment. However you need to organize things over the next few months, I will still be watching!
Your bookclub cardigan is so gorgeous!!! I can't wait until I'm skilled enough to make one 😂 And thanks for sharing your sewing! I love seeing people's sewing makes and how they fit them into their knitted wardrobe.
Your cardigan is gorgeous. Zealana yarn is some of the the nicest I've ever used - my husband brought me some from when he was in NZ for work. I wish it was easier to find to order online, i seem to only be able to find a few colors here or there in stock, and rarely in sweater quantities.
Your bookclub cardigan is beautiful! I love all your modifications, and the yarn is breathtaking. What a treat! Your skirt is perfect! I love how you work your beautiful hair color (the flowers in the skirt fabric) into your crafts and look even more put together. We're all missing Paige, but I'm so glad you gave us this video in her absence, and I'm looking forward to the next one.❤🧶
Another great podcast as always!! Your book club cardigan is lovely and so is your sewn skirt ❤. I hope Paige is doing well and having a wonderful time.
Yay!! I've been missing you guys! Thanks for this great podcast! Love your stick season, it came across as quite purple on screen! Your Book club cardigan is a revelation. I can't imagine making anything as complicated. Love your skirt, Summer is going to hit us in the face all of a sudden , in that Melbourne way :)
Now that we are going towards winter, all your projects look so comfy and cozy,. This is quite inspiring, thanks ! Nice of you to keep doing the videos as Paige is travelling, I hope she is having a good time.
Hi Sarah, it was so lovely to see you chatting about your knits, you don't have to be stressed about not being able to film the episode with Paige, you did a fantastic job! We love you both guys, no matter the format, just keep doing what you're doing 😁💜💜
You look beautiful in your cardigan Sarah, that colour is one of the best I’ve seen you wear ( and I love most of your colours) Definitely put the Book Club on my list
Batching content is so pro. I know you said its been disjointed, but I'm impressed by the forethought and organisation. You both have full lives away from knitting and filming: getting anything recorded in advance and in Paige-away times is winning at life. 💕
Well done on going it alone again, Sarah. It was great to hear your progress and plans. While Paige is missed for her exuberant excitement over everything knitting, please don’t undervalue your contribution. I love hearing how you work through your projects, and especially seeing the end results. Your makes always look so neat and wearable. As mentioned by others, I’ve also changed my mind about the Book Club Cardigan as a result of seeing your FO. It’s gorgeous. Wow! 🤩
