Great vid. I also have a yellow 2017 650XT and love it. My Givi Airflow was just delivered and I plan to install it this week. At 6'3" I really need better airflow than the OEM provides. In SW Cloroado our winds are feast or family and can be brutal at times. Thanks for the honest review.

@@gudllu Yes, it works. I'm 6'3" (190 cm). I can still feel a little wind on top of my helmet, but the bad buffeting is gone. I recommend this wind shield. It is easy to adjust, but you do have to stop.
One of my best purchases for the motorcycle. I wonder why Suzuki doesn't put such glass in stock 🤔. Airflow is the best! My height is 182 cm and it solves everything. V-Strom is a dream bike now. ❤
What drives me nuts is that your review says it’s just so so, while many others just gush about how wonderful it is. I just don’t know what to think. But I bet I’m a lot like you, and the Givi is just going to be so so.
All I can do is tell you what I think! Maybe they're taller than me or shorter than me. Maybe they got theirs for free! Who knows? After two years, I would still say it is so-so. That's the one I'm going to use on my bike riding to Prudhoe Bay Alaska this year though! If you lived close, I'd let you put it on your bike and see what you think!

get yourself a set of madstad brackets to go with it. You will be able to change the angle of deflection, possibly giving the clear view and wind protectin you desire.
That phone mounted where it is will be interfering with the flow of air between the bottom screen and the bike - possibly why it doesn't work so well for you?
Like you I put Suzuki mirror extenders on my 2018 V Strom 1000, and like you no difference whatsoever. Last Sunday I dropped the dam thing lost it pulling it onto the centre stand on a deceptively sloping driveway. So I’m in the process of replacing damaged parts and a new screen is required (by the way those factory braces that the screen attaches to cost £125.00🇬🇧) but the Suzuki crash bars saved the tank and fairing. So I’m thinking about the Givi but I cannot come to terms with the way it looks, but suspect it’s probably one of the best for adjustment, protection and price. I’m 183cm with 75cm inside leg, I’ll probably make the purchase but it’s definitely substance over form which means I’m getting old
Otobai Jim I have looked at the Madstad (very wide looking thing) and I’ve read plenty of good things on the British V Strom owners forum about it. Like you say it does lack the adjustability of the Givi. I also believe crash helmet design / shape contributes to the overall buffeting intensity, my current lid is a shoei GT Air 2 and since purchasing it’s helped. Ride safe✌️
The Airflow is brilliant on the Vstrom 650, however I do not recommend it on the KTM 390 Adventure. In one word, horrible! It seems to worrk better on some bikes than others. Best to get a review for your own bike first!! IMO
Did you try to change the angel of your windshield? I hope you know that 9n V-STROM you can change 3 position? I'm riding with Puig windshield, but thinking to change to Airflow. If I want the best protection I need to change the angel of the shield. Try it with Airflow I hope you will be happy!
