True farmer, 1 recognize somethings wrong 2 understands their personalities 3 knows of a remedy that should help them. Proud of you partner! Yep she should be up in a day or two, hoping all goes well with you and that calf. Thanks for the tips and God bless you brother!
Giving shots to animals always sucks to do lol . I worked for a huge hog farm when I was 18 and soon as you stuck one they all would go off screaming . I hope she gets better soon !
we had a cow once that got bad off so we give it a shot. it limped around for about a month with the sickness "and" the gunshot wound but it healed right up lmao
Get you a needle gun McGie, they much quicker. You can use it on your hogs too if you need to. LA 200 is good medicine that’s popularity is coming back. It was over used yrs ago and herds of livestock got immune to it in places. They also make LA 300 that’s good. Although it’s expensive we try to switch antibiotics on sickly animals. I would definitely give her a follow up shot in 2 or 3 days. 👍
Have you ever 👀 Dr. Pol? He's a country vet from Michigan who had a show on NatGeo. There are some of his videos on RU-vid as well.. You would enjoy it
That stuff works great if you can catch them early enough. Looks like you probably did. When they are laying on the ground, doing the head bob, it usually to late to pull them out of it. Best of luck my Friend
what sucks is giving them LA above the eyeball for pinkeye and put eye patches on. especially when there's an outbreak and you do 200 or so in one day lol
I have a bull calf, he was energetic and out of no where he stopped trying to eat, I’ve given him LA200 3 days ago and he’s still acting the same. Any advice?
Bro im a vet doctor as a doctor i didnt agree with the way of your injection because your restraining was not enough you should apply tail restraint and this muscle is called (semi-membraneous muscle) but it was not wrong i mean you need to learn more a little bit and i will give a like for your vedio hope you not get angry from my advice
