Thank you madam. This explanation and demonstration you did on subtanceous injection is perfect and understandable. Thank you once again. Please shoot a video on intramuscular injection for us
Hi! I injected by mistake a cow with calcium chloride subcutaneous(wich is for strict intravenous administration because it causes tissue necrosis). I injected 50 ml (10 ml in five different points,1ml=100mg calcium chloride),then i saw the label of the bottle that was mixed in between the calcium gluconate bottles. What is the worst thing that can happen to the cow? Thanks in advance for any advice!
Sorry, but I didn't see this post until now. I am not familiar with the use of calcium chloride as an injectable drug in cattle and obviously at this point it is too late to reverse any effects of the drug. What ended up happening to your cow? If there is necrotic tissue it requires resection and the animal should be treated with antibiotics and anti-inflammatories.
@@gabrielemaier7506 Thank you for the reply! No problems with tissue necrosis, but i ve been told only because i injected a very small quantity in multiple points... The cow got up after 7 days!!!
