Hi Marley this looks as all Scott's films do stunning.I hope it has the emotional heft of the first film. I'd recommend Russell Crowe in a movie MASTER and COMMANDER the far side of the world made not long after GLADIATOR.👍💓🇬🇧
A fellow Welsh accent , guessing you live near Caerleon / Newport way Luscious the kid grows up and the Roman armies invade his country and he becomes captured as a slave , he is forced into the arena similar to Russel Crowe in the old movie , let’s just hope they continue the musical score as that was monumental

Looking forward to watching this movie, looks great loved studying acient history in school. From your comment about Wales I think a good movie to watch is "King Arthur" and for a background of Roman history, BBC tv series "I Claudius" and HBO series "Rome".

The sequel we don't need and no one's ever asked for. I really hope that movie comes out great, but i have really low expectations after Ridley Scott's disastrous Napoleon movie.
