This story empathizes more as a Roman-style action style, but I hope that all its great cast deviates from that way of idealizing the background of the story for the rap of the back.🤣🤣

First of all, congrats Joshua on your commercial for The General. I saw it a few days ago while watching TV with my family. I had to explain how I knew who you were. 😁 Second, I'm in the same situation, Jose. I worked in a movie theater for 17 years, much of that in the projection booth. Gladiator was one of the countless films the physically went thru my fingers. Now, as for Gladiator II, I was a bit skeptical at first based on how much I love the first one, but this trailer sold me on it. This looks incredible. The cinematography looks beautiful. I can't wait for this.

I can't say I needed a follow up to the first movie but now this is a thing I'm up for seeing it. I'm a big fan of everything Ridley Scott does so it's a no brainer that I will. It looks to be different enough to warrant a sequel and all the Roman politics and behind the scenes backbiting is intriguing. Grand scale is always a cinematic winner for me and this looks epic! Drop the rap music though eh? 😉

Just think about it, if they made a movie about the Hatian slave revolt, should Lil Yachty be the score? It doesn't work. There's a place for modern music, just not in period pieces. I'm not the only one btw. Many people agree. The movie won't have this music, so why put it in the trailer?

@@ahmorganThey used modern music in the original soundtrack it just sounded ancient. However Hans Zimmer did use Synths in it. But yes, rap, pop, and rock n roll usually doesnt work

I doubt hip hop will be used in the film, but a good trailer is a marketing tool for the movie. Can't say this trailer has done that. I know it's not easy to find the best music, but this choice felt lazy and too on the nose.

Agreed. The studios are shilling hard for this crap. It looks and feels too much like a forgettable straight to video knock off. Is that why they're shilling so hard?? Do they want a movie about Ancient Rome to actually be successful?? I have absolutely no interest in anything I'm seeing in this trailer. I dont care about any of the actors / characters. So why??

This looks and feels like a cheap, straight to video knock off. There is NO WAY this unnecessary sequel will be better than the original Gladiator. First of all, i dont care about anything that happens or any of the characters / actors in this movie. Second of all, you guys sound like this was a Shakespearean trailer or something. Youre reading way too much into this cheap garbage. Stop shilling for the studios.
