I'm still shocked that the movie is getting a sequel. I honestly can't see how it could possibly live up to the original. Yes it's great to see Ridley Scott back directing it but that's all it has going for it at the moment. Denzel Washington is a welcome addition to the movie. There must be something to it if he is in it. Time will tell. As you can tell by the video I was blown away by David's incredible gift and I think it's hands down the best release I have ever seen for Gladiator. I feel very blessed and thank you for stopping by and checking it out

It's such a standalone classic that really doesn't need a prequel or sequel . Denzel will definitely add some class to it and I'm sure Ridley Scott is going to get all the money he needs to make something so epic as the original..let's hope we're both proved wrong! No problem Keith 👍

Well I'm all for being proven wrong but Ridley Scott could tarnish gladiator by giving us a poor sequel. I'm sure it's going to be a good movie but I can't see it being as great as the original

@@millerman9991 I was lucky Keith, I only got into Everythingblu quite late too. I only have 3, this edition, Oblivion and BlackKKlansman from zavvi. They are fabulous though, missed out on some great editions but there's always eBay 😂

Hey Michael. I'm very surprised to hear that two movies didn't work. I thought the idea of a region free player is to play any region so why they wouldn't work makes no sense. I will definitely look into it before purchasing. A huge thanks for the heads up on that

@millerman9991 The only two that didn't play were a Creepshow and Prom Night special editions. Like they had an extra layer of encryption. Apparently it has something to do with up to date drivers or something. A bit beyond me but I'm glad I bought it. Has come in handy.

Just out of curiosity Michael do you have any other scream factory releases and if so do they work on the player because apparently you can get a hack code for my 4K player but it won't play Scream factory titles

@millerman9991 One I can think of is the Friday the 13th boxset. They are all region A but play fine. There are others from different distributors that wouldn't play on my old supposedly region free Samsung player. I am sure they are coming up with better encryption to region lock their discs. But a decent region free player is definitely worth it if not perfect.

I'm definitely going to be picking up one and hopefully very soon because the last thing I want is to miss out on some of the amazing releases that's coming out of the States.

Yes the Gladiator sequel is definitely happening. It's directed by Ridley Scott again and Denzel Washington stars in it. Me personally I don't think they should make a sequel to it because gladiator is perfect and there was no way they're going to repeat what they've done with that movie. But I hope I'm proven wrong

Honestly Brandon I really don't know how I keep finding the room but I do. You might be surprised but there is quite a lot of space inside this room mainly because I built a new shelf behind me that holds 270 movies. So it freed up a bit of space for me. I'm sure the day will come but it's not yet

Wow now that is a weekend. I only just watched The Lord of the Rings collection for the first time on 4K a couple of weeks ago and I thought they look great. There was a lot of complains made against the 4K transfers but I had no issues and I'm hoping you don't.

As far as I remember when it comes to the Dark Knight trilogy the first one was the worst looking of the three but the other two looked phenomenal. Brace yourself for the IMAX scenes which look astonishing

Hey Glen. It is so easy to be this enthusiastic when you receive such an incredible gifts like this. You have to understand I never thought I was ever going to own this edition of gladiator so I couldn't hold my excitement. I'm still pondering weather to pick up blood and black lace because I have the Blu-ray release of it and I'm not the biggest fan of the movie. Don't get me wrong I don't hate it but I don't know if I want to own it twice. I might see if it goes down in price and then pounce on it

There are always moments in every hobby where the impossible is suddenly possible and you feel overwhelmed over what has made it so. I’m happy for you, my friend! And for what it’s worth, I think the upgrade on the Bava film defines 4K like no other!

I've seen a few reviews on the movie itself on 4K and it's frightening apparently how good it looks and for that reason alone I probably will pick it up. I'm just hoping that it will go down slightly in price sometime in the future

@@millerman9991 The first video you put out of that “Gladiator Box” was epic, and the fact that you were able to put in those premium steel books to complete the ensemble was a dream come true. I guess you never know where this collection hunt will take you. But as for me this will be a special holiday as “Gladiator” is by far a huge Film Experience for me personally. I’m just glad I was able to get a copy-Lol The other release that’s got me all riled up is Film Arena’s pre-order of the the Lenticular 4K box set of “Edge of Tomorrow” I already have the coveted Box set from Lionsgate with all the goodies. I saw your video on that as well, but the “Film Arena” edition of that looks stunning. Plus you got me hooked on those Lenticular’s…they look so amazing :) But wow they are expensive.

I like the look of the filmarena release of edge of Tomorrow but I have to admit I actually prefer the Warner Brothers release I have. Having said that I do love my clear slipcovers which it does come with so I might be a little biased towards it. Great to hear there's another fan of lenticular covers out there. Honestly they get me every time I see them and that's what you get in abundance with filmarena

@@millerman9991 I know what you mean…I have the same copy, it’s a “Warner Bros.” Not “Lionsgate”…the clear slip threw me off. So apologies, I mis-spoke there. That copy alone was a “nail-biter” when that was released. You never know with Zavvi! Lol I have to agree with you though, the Film Arena pre-order looks very similar to the Warner Bros release with the exception of the Lenticular. “Edge of Tomorrow” is just one of those titles for me that any new release especially by “Film Arena” is always a Temptation that pulls at your heart. There is two versions you can get when it comes to the Titans release. The £100 version is way to expensive but there is a £50 one as well and that's the one that I pre-ordered. I'm almost certain it's back in stock as well if you are interested

I just watched the popes exorcism tonight’s actually pretty good horror movie I doubt it was all true story, because it says, from the files of the (name )of the priest which he’s depicting in that movie . I love how they put a set of tits in it that really was not necessary 😂

Great to hear that you enjoyed it but it wasn't for me. I've seen that type of movie time and time again and I'm kind of sick of it at this point. Unhinged on the other hand is a very entertaining thriller and I hope you do check it out

Somebody told me that they actually sampled it from gladiator and put it on the Pirates of the Caribbean. I'm not sure how true that is but someone in the comment section did mention it

@@millerman9991 Hans Zimmer wrote both scores. But gave He's a Pirate Away to Klaus Badelt, but he did wrote it. A bit lazy to copy from his own material, but not illegal haha! There are a lot of comparison vids on YT. When I watched this movie I got a lot of Jack Sparrow vibes with the score. A bit distracting for my taste :(

I've only got one copy and it was gift
