Maybe if there was some sort of embossing or high gloss finish to them I would appreciate them a bit more. I think they're a little bit lacking when you compare it to the rest of the set
Hey Keith , thank you so much for the video. You are a 100 per cent right, many people hate this movie, I don't, I don't think it is great , but it is enjoyable without any doubt. As for the sequel, I share your view, I remember thinking in the theater, why am I watching this thing and wasting my time ? I couldn't stand it. The collector's edition you have shown us is truly stunning, really worth the money it cost, vibrant colours and good artwork. Thank you again for another great, honest video. Stay safe my friend !
I am so relieved to hear that there is another fan out there for the original. Yeah like I said in the video it's a million miles away from being perfect but I had a fun time with it and it's mainly down to the cast. A lot of them were underutilized which is a bit of a shame but there was enough there to go on and it's a shame a lot of them didn't return in the sequel and it's probably why I didn't enjoy it. Maybe someday it might grow on me but I don't think I'll ever truly like it. But thank you once again my good friend for taking the time to check out this beautiful edition. That's a great edition Keith 👍 have to say that I really enjoyed Suicide Squad, the villain was a bit meh but I liked the cast, I'm probably in a group of one but I thought they were all ok.
I have to admit John I am very surprised to hear that you enjoyed the movie. I thought you were going to tell me it wasn't your cup of tea. Great to hear I'm not the only one who enjoyed it.
I remember you telling me that you loved Marvel and DC but I don't know why I was just surprised that you were a fan of suicide squad. There's not many of us
The outer box is gorgeous, and the colours across the steelbooks are very nice and vibrant. But the steelbook designs do leave a lot to be desired. The film... I've not seen it. The amount of hoohaa that was made over it on social media really put me off, as well as the design of the Joker and the tit that is Jared Leto. The second film i lasted about 20 minutes before turning it off in boredom. But a great video as always, Keith. Nice one.
Hey Mike. To be honest I never listen 2 reviews when it comes to any movie because I would rather see it for myself. Some of my favourite movies were critically panned. I don't know what to tell you maybe someday you will give it a go and see what you think. The sequel feels very different to the original so you never know you might prefer it. @@millerman9991 yeah feels abit like Coppolas Dracula. Assault on Arkham the Suicide Squad animation film is worth a look if you haven't seen it mate better than both live action films
A lovely looking set. You know one day I will get a one click set for spidey. Never had the cash really as they are silly money but I continue to try and get at least 1 edition from boutique labels. Great stuff. Excelsior
Spider-Man 1 Click Editions from Filmarena do go for absolutely crazy money. I have one of them in my collection and I'm hoping to pick up another. It's all about being patient and waiting for the right opportunity

Yeah like I said in the video Gary I'm not expecting this video to get much of a response because of the hatred that's out there for the movie. But as you said it's all about how I feel about it and I'm a huge fan and I couldn't be happier to have such a release. But thank you so much for the support.
Very nice editions Keith. I do like the color scheme on these ones. The spot glossing stands out beautifully and Harley Quinn is so hot in this movie, that outfit is Wow! Nice to see the glass cabinets making a cameo behind you.
Yeah I was probably around 6 videos ahead of myself when I removed the Cabinets so you might see it featured again a few times in the next couple of weeks. This is a frustrating one for me. I like individual scenes of this but you don't need to know the history to notice its a compromised mulch. I really wanted to see the Ayer Cut and its a shame the new DC regime strung him along only to shut it down at the last hurdle.
There seems to be far too much of that going on when it comes to DC. They can never seem to get it right with the first theatrical release. They need the Director's Cut to Almost rescue it. But despite its issues I still had a fun time with the movie.
@millerman9991 yeah I'm not convinced what I've seen and heard of Superman Legacy either. It's clear by everything around Guardians that Gunn doesn't connect with large audiences, SS2 was an unfunny tonal mess.
@patton2773 yeah I have to agree with you Leigh. To be honest I'm not particularly looking forward to it but I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised. I don't particularly rate James Gunn the way audiences out there do. But we will have to see

Hi Keith - Chuck Steel takes me back. We saw it first as a short film at Frightfest back in 2013 as Chuck Steel: Raging Balls of Steel Justice. They even gave us a vacuformed mask, which I still have somewhere. The feature film version; Night of the Trampires also screened at Frightfest many years later (2018 I think). So it’s good to finally see it arrive on disc. I have also that very same Texas Chainsaw Massacre with the steel plate. And guess what? My postcard envelope is still sealed too!
Like I said in the video I honestly never heard tell of Chuck Steel. But I am a bit more aware of it now and I have to admit I am very intrigued to finally check this one out. It sounds right of my street. When it comes to the envelope for the Texas Chainsaw Massacre I have absolutely no intention of ever opening just like yourself. I could tell in the video that if I try I'm going to rip it so I'm not going to risk it
Very cool Editions. The Terminator-Editions reminded me of the Century3-Editions, I have mine of The Terminator still in my Collection. I’ll get two new 4K-Steelbooks this week, of Godzilla x Kong and Ghostbusters - Frozen Empire. They are my Birthday-Gifts for myself 😁 From my wife I’ll get a deck chair for our new terrace 😍

One question by the way, do you have any idea about what the hell is going on with the latest editions of filmarena ? you know, Halloween Kills, The bourne identity, godzilla vs kong, etc, i mean all of them are extremely delayed from long ago, it will be a year since almost since i bought halloween kills, i don´t have any update from them, they don´t answer emails, always the same with them (the same happened to me with their release of predator), those guys are so annoying.. plus their customer service is so terrible ! i don´t know, maybe you know something or you have any update. I hate actually having to say this to you but I heard a rumour that filmarena are no longer in business. If I were you I would start sending threatening and legal messages to them saying that you want your money refunded. Honestly I never pre-order anything from them because I was made aware quite early that they are very hard to get hold of. It's an absolutely horrible way to run a business. I really do hope you get this sorted and hopefully very soon because if there is any truth behind that rumour god knows what will happen to your money. It's so incredibly frustrating because that Halloween kills in particular is something I would love to have in my collection. If I hear anything else I will definitely get back to you

Hey Keith, David is definitely the man I can’t speak to a lot of those additions, but I do have the godfather box set. The transfers are amazing. I’ve seen the godfather countless times and I’ve never seen it like this great shadow detail, wonderful, natural color for instants the opening scene when the godfather is meeting in his office, he is wearing a tuxedo, the trim on the lapel of the jacket is satin and you can clearly see the differences in the black where like I said I’ve seen the movie countless times and never saw that before. I’m sure a great combination of 4K and OLED but it looks so good. The sound has greatly been through the prior Blu-ray box set and many problems I think mainly due to the original source but they’ve definitely cleaned it up and made it much better. Music is now a highlight and much more enjoyable. The packaging definitely looks nice but beware the material definitely shows handling marks and dirt and really seems to degrade rather quickly. I haven’t handled mine much at all, but it already shows quite a bit of wear and dirt and unfortunately the material they used I’m afraid to even try to clean it as I think I would make it worse so be careful when handling. have a great one is always stay safe.👍
I've heard so many great things when it comes to the 4K transfers on all three of them. To be able to actually watch them on my new setup I know I'm in for a treat. Still can't believe somebody would actually gift me such a fantastic release. I knew there was something stopping me from buying them all this time. As for the packaging yes it reminds me of my suspiria edition that I have and that's really starting to show some ware on it even though it never gets moved or touched. I will try my best to look after it but there's only so much you can do. All I can do is Hope nothing will happen to it overtime. It would be a shame if something happens seeming this was given to me as a gift. But thank you so much John for stopping by and giving me a heads up on the release itself and the transfers. Really looking forward to checking them out

Yeah it's the same over here in Ireland. My Bloody Valentine was very hard to get hold of on Blu-ray never mind the 4k. Great to see movies like that getting the 4K treatment
Honestly I hope you get the experience I got when I seen my Bloody Valentine on 4k. I didn't think they could improve on the Blu-ray because it looked that good but somehow they managed it. You are in for a treat
I have the bluray steelbook of that terminator blue tint version, maybe that is what you have aswell (uk zav steelbook. What an amazing gift of the godfather trilogy, those are a required watch Keith in the crime genre along with the likes of scarface, casino, heat ect I got the steelbooks myself but I think it was the 75 quid amaray edition people had the issue with surely? That collectors set is beautiful.
Yeah I think people were complaining about the actual box set itself. Me personally I don't see it and I don't think I'll ever change my mind on it. I have to give credit when credit due because the Steelbooks do look quite amazing. It's great have those options out there. As for the Terminator Steelbook it's definitely not a Zavvi exclusive. It's part of the definitive edition range. I don't think that was exclusive to zavvi. It's going back a while
On the topic of the Terminator films Keith, I will be meeting Robert Patrick this coming Sunday and have him autograph my limited Edition 4K of T2- can not wait to meet the T-1000 in person!
That is incredibly strange because I was only just watching a video on RU-vid and it was Robert Patrick signing somebody's Endo skull. He comes across as such a Likable gentlemen.
