This is my first ever experience of Gladys. What an absolute amazing woman. The world needs more like her. Sad to hear she is no longer here. Love and light Gladys
I love Gladys, i was watching the Ellen Show the very first time Ellen called her,i was laughing so hard i was in tears.I am glad to see that Ellen kept calling her.I am sure Gladys has a special place in peoples hearts especially Ellen and Portia's. What a funny lady.I think Gladys missed her calling, she is right up there with Lucy and Carol, what a genuinely funny lady.I love you Gladys Hardy.
I actually ordered a I love Jesus but I drink a little bit” T-shirt! I have everyone in Key West, Florida watching it!! I watch it at the end of every night cuz it makes me laugh so hard 😂
@@heathercottrill3505 False she’s actually a real person and died 5 years ago unfortunately. Her family uploaded a RU-vid video in memory of her. You can find it floating around RU-vid recommended it to me and at first I didn’t know who it was until I read the comments and realized it was her :(
OMG! Who wouldn't love Glady's? She sounds absolutely adorable and talk about funny and witty! Between her and Ellen you just got to love them both! Ellen is such a doll! so funny and such a good person and I love how she absolutely adores animals! Love you Glady's and Ellen!
This wasn't real lol it was radio dj and it was scripted throughout all those years... Come on, "Gladys" was 88 in 2003... It's 2019... She'd be 106 by now 🤣
No Glady's did not pass away she was a made up voice by a DJ in Austin radio show. He made up that voice as a charector for his show. I believe the voice was Scott Hardy from KLBJ morning radio show who had done voice overs for some of Larry the Cable guys stuff.
So true! We need a Gladys update..the Thanksgiving Dressing that was talked about on the show was a recipe that actually belonged to “Mother Presley” a great church cook from Houston, TX. My baby sister shared Mother Presley’s recipe with me and I shared Mother Presley’s recipe with a co-worker who lived near Gladys....and that’s how it was eventually featured on the Ellen Show.
I wish she would’ve got on a plane&came,or is it nicer that we never see her. Just enjoy her phn. conversations, maybe seeing her. Would mess up the allure&wonderment we have of Gladys. Enjoy the time we get w/her
Other people have put up videos of our Nana Gladys Hardy's calls with Ellen. They have climbed into the millions! We are getting a late start, but please share the Gladys Love! Help the Hardy Hayes Refuge and shop here: www.shop.gladyshardy.com/main.sc
@BBBYpsi No it wasn't wise ass. I used to work in nursing homes. There were tons of old people like this. Old people are funny as hell. I'm sorry for your unbelief.
Gladys apparently sent a letter to Ellen complaining about the placement of the plants on set. Ellen called her to ask her where she wanted the plants placed. First phone call to Gladys was the "I love Jesus but I like to drink a little" call. The phone calls continued
