Between 1978 and 1996 the Atlanta, Georgia native, as a solo artist, had twelve records on the Hot Black Singles chart, three made the Top 10, her biggest hit was "That's What Friends Are For", a calibration with Dionne Warwick, Elton John & Stevie Wonder, it peaked at #1 for three weeks in January of 1986... Beside the above two records, her third Top 10 record was "Missing You", a calibration with Brandy, Tamia, and Chaka Khan, it reached #10 in 1996... Gladys Knight, un gran talento de aquella época, ademas esta canción es muuy bonita, y Denise Rosenthal hizo un cover super movido de esta canción, pero el original no lo cambio por nada!

I know right? No shade to all the wonderful 80s soul singers, but it seemed like a lot of them wanted to kick off the 90s by showing how hip and edgy they could be with these uptempo dance numbers and they all tended to go for the same aesthetic when it came to the accompanying music video. Vesta did it with "Do Ya," Howard Hewett did it with "Save Your Sex For Me," friggin' PHYLLIS HYMAN did it with "Don't Wanna Change The World," and that's just three I named off the top of my head.

Definitivamente me quedo con esta version... la de denisse esta bien hecha.. pero hubiera sido mejor con una voz con más experiencia, madura y no con una que esta recien creciendo y aprendiendo... el video de denisse nadaa qe decir.. esta excelentemente hecho, se nota las lucas puestan... pero no sirve de nada si lelgana tner dramas con los derechos de autor.
