I'm guessing most of the people commenting, saying they don't like the screaming parts, had never listened to Glass Cloud before hearing this. It wouldn't make sense as a Glass Cloud version if it didn't have those parts. The whole point of a cover is to take a song and put your own spin on it...otherwise, you're just a glorified pub jam band.
ive come to the decision that joshua travis's playing is a guitarists response to dubstep... the noises out of that mans guitar -.- why cant i be that damn good
I need this on Spotify, its such a banger of a cover just changes enough for me to want to listen to both which is a good thing as some covers are far too focused on 1/1 conversions with fundamental differences
Better than everything on every punk goes pop compilation and probably my favorite cover of all time. I miss glass cloud. Now that I know Look at Yourself is the extent of a Josh Travis influence for Emmure and theyre just gonna be a korn tribute band, the breakup of glass cloud hurts even more.
This is such intelligent insight from a high-class gentleman. Your review of this "Gay. As. Fuck." song has opened my eyes to how bad it truly is. You are an artist of speech, the most eloquent man this world has ever seen, it seems. All bullshit aside, this song is pretty damn good. The original song was released in 1985, which would probably explain why you think it's "gay". Now, this band is clearly mature and musically minded enough to have not made just one long breakdown, like most would.
I heard about this song from glee, and the Glee cover was fucking good so I got obessed with that version and then the original, then right after you guys release this. I guess I should never get over loving this song.
