Pretty / Unpretty is such a soft but powerful mashup. The way they used it in the show adds a depth to it that's really interesting, one of those "Glee did this right" moments. Also, Lea and Diana's voices together sound just delightfully pretty, no pun intended
I love this episode. I did find it funny that it was an extra long episode with fewer songs than many regular length episodes. Although, they did let the full song play out for most of them. But, I love every song in this episode. I Feel Pretty/Unpretty is probably my favorite Mash-up in the show. I Gotta Be Me is one of Cory's best vocal performances and one that always makes me smile. Blaine gets to be super emotional and impressive in Somewhere Only We Know. And As If We Never Said Goodbye is Kurt's best vocal in the show, imo. It's in the sweet spot of his range. Very underrated in the fandom. And, of course, the title song is great, although it's not my favorite Lady Gaga cover in the show(that's either Bad Romance or Marry the Night). One of the more iconic ones, though, with everyone in their t-shirts.
I love the story between Rachel and Quinn in this eposide have nothing to do with Finn, those two have some serious connection when they singing that song
Somewhere Only We Know is my 3rd favorite song of the entire series…and I don’t like this episode. Thinking about it, most of my favorite songs are in my least favorite episodes🤔
