@@juul9812 yeah I think when Blaine was first introduced he was a grade above Kurt then when Kurt graduated and went to NY Blaine was still at McKinley
@@beebeevids6851 i thought the same thing but he was actually a sophomore (younger than kurt). in season 2 they stated that blaine is a junior warbler not a junior in high school
i’m convinced jenna wasn’t even on glee it was just her body, because every time someone says even the most basic thing about this show she acts like she wasn’t even there
Honestly, the fact that glee was so badly written at times, and so many actions make no sense wahtsoever, is also why I love the show. its unbearably annoying, but I also like it. Also, if you've noticed, every time someone gives a speech it ends up using the phrase " you taught me what it means to be a man" - Finn says it to Kurt and also his mom (literally a minute apart), Mr.Shue says it on 2-3 times; I'm just thinking - that is unbelievably lazy writing, but i'm definitely here for it.
Obsessed with how no one even remembers Sam and Quinn together when they apparently had "such good chemistry" that they dropped the planned Sam/Kurt storyline for them instead. It really was all for nothing huh
Sam and Kurt were never going to be a thing. The show wanted you to think that to set up Blaine as a surprise. The actor said he auditioned for quarterback and date one of the girls, not one of the boys.
If you read up on how quick turnaround for episodes were and how most of the cast was treated behind the scenes it's no wonder most of the have blocked the show out of memory 😂 in jenna's defense, they gave her dust in terms of solos and storylines and she was one of the most under-utilized cast members/was basically just a prop for other characters so it makes sense she doesn't know ANYTHING that happened story-wise
When they were filming Glee, they were shooting like 2-3 episodes at once and they weren't in order. I don't blame them for not knowing all the plot lines when like you said, the plot was messy and the actual filming them was chaotic af
Basically, according to the Glee timeline, Blaine spent his sophomore year at Dalton, his Junior and Senior years at McKinley and his Freshman year at some unnamed other public school where he was bullied. When he first came on the show the writers claimed he was a year "older" then Kurt, but it was never established in the show so to keep Blaine at McKinley longer they made him a year younger at the end of the third season.
they mention just before west side story auditions that kurt is a senior but blaine is a junior. As much as i love most of season 4 blaine, I do think it would have been better if they had blaine and kurt in the same year. they had too many of the main favourite characters as seniors at the same time. :/
OH MY GOD I KNEW SOMETHING WAS UP!!! I have been stuck on the fact that I was so certain he was older than Kurt FOR YEARS ans it always made me so confused that he then graduated after Kurt 😭 plus, Darren really played Blaine as a mentor and as older, at least in the beginning (until the timeline gets all fucked up) in terms of what kind of energy he was giving off!!! Thank you so much for explaining it!!
I think Kurt and Blaine were born in the same calendar year, but Blaine either had a later Fall birthday or his parents red-shirted him for sports. That would put him a grade behind Kurt in school. Dalton is his "turf" and he's popular there, so of course he seems older. He later admits he's never had a boyfriend and only pretends to know about being in love.
Also in 2009, which is set around the time of the pilot, and the beginning of his freshman year, he is seen in dalton uniform so he must have transferred from that other school in the first week or something 🤔 this show literally makes no sense whatsoever
I like to believe that they got their scripts so late every single time that all of their lines were solely commited to their short-term memories and fully erased from their minds the next day, if not later the same day.
I am screaming at this whole video XDDDD Between Jenna not remembering she was there to Darren trying to make sense of something that just does not make sense to Kevin's WHATTTT!! Yes, Glee was sheer madness and the writers did not care about making it me sense. Edit: Kevin is basically losing his mind while watching Glee (so, he is all of us) XDDD
It's funny in retrospect, but I feel like it speaks to how undervalued they all probably felt as actors even though they were in the scenes and seasons mentioned.
I love how the revelation that he was sophomore when Kurt met him the first time completely messes with his whole mentor-gay-elder schtick he had going... the sloppiest character ever written
It's weird that Jenna remembered Rachel & Sunshine singing Telephone in a bathroom (one 2 min scene she wasn't even involved in), but she completely forgot West Side Story? A big thing involving her and the rest of the cast that went on for several episodes?
In Jenna’s defense she barely had any actual story content to work with until season 4 when the show started to go downhill and the actors blocked most of it out.
Ryan Murphy: yeah Sam was written into the show to be a potential love interest for Kurt but I decided to make him straight because of Chord and Dianna Agron's iNcReDiBLe cHeMiSTrY The characters, the fans, the actors: oh yeah Sam and Quinn dated I forgot
It’s both hilarious and sad that they don’t remember some of the episodes, but as long as nobody ever forgets fun behind the glee (iykyk) moments and my babies Snixx and CoMo are never forgotten, I’m okay because I survived all six seasons and I forget certain episodes (specifically the dumpster fire that was s5-s6) unless I rewatch which I only do in small doses nowadays
Now that I think about it, you really have to study Glee and memorize the madness as opposed to trying to make sense of it. That’s how you remember everything about it.
It's so funny when they forget everything about the show!!!! Hahahahaha Also you missed the one that Jenna started singing " Here's to us" AND she didn't even know that it was that song.
“ is it one that I blocked it out? Mentally? I have no idea” what an experience glee must have been, I blocked some out and I was just watching the show” it’s great bc it’s terrible.
It’s hysterical no one remembers Quinn and Sam together because Chord & Diana’s “chemistry” made the producers change Sam entirely (he was supposed to be Kurt’s boyfriend) and without that change there would be no Blaine/Darren.
I love Darren and Chris so much. "Wtf do you mean why you so upset did you not see what just happened" "I singed it? I.. I have no idea. I have no idea"
Hey... I was wondering if maybe i could take some of your videos and put the subtitles in portuguese, i do that for my channel. But don't worry, i always put the credits to the original videos and channels in the end😁
