Unlike the earlier version I posted, this video includes the complete introduction and song for Jane Lynch as performed by the cast of Glee at The Trevor Project fundraiser event on December 8, 2013. I own nothing...
"Hey jane im blake and im jacob and we've never met. We're on glee too but no one ever thought of putting us in a scene together ok peace out, bye." Omg i cannot 😂
for everybody confused no Jane did not die. This was a tribute to her. The Trevor Project is an organization that does suicide prevention and its targets towards lgbtq+ youth. Trevor live is like a banquet thing they do every year and the organization wanted to honor Jane Lynch for doing so much for the lgbtq+ community
Sami 245 why shouldn’t Chris (Kurt) go first? I’m actually glad that he did, because he was the first to set the tone as the ice breaker for Jane Lynch’s tribute.😑 Btw, it’s spelled DAMN*. Spell check much?
"The most demeaning, verbally abusive and awful human being to appear on our television set, which is ironic since Jane improvised most of her lines." 😂😂😂😂😂
“Smile” was sung and played so beautifully! It’s rare to have the opportunity to hear Jenna’s voice so full and soulful! And the others were magnificent as always!
Awwwww....well deserved Jane! So much love! Glee Cast Fighting! BTW, I especially died w/ this one @ 3:28. It was just priceless how she ripped that thing apart literally and of course, Tike figuratively. XD
Wow, this proves yet again how good she can sing! I've always liked the combination of mark's and jenna's voice. A shame they only sang together in 'do they know it's christmas time'.
@@ilisem817 It's so old, like 8 years ago, but I wanted to say that Do They Know It's Christmas is not the only song they sing together. Jenna and Mark lead Home season 6 chorus together and they did sound incredible.
Smile...really? Hit it where it hurts! Not even 5 months after Cory's death. It was amazing and beautiful though! You're an inspiration Jane Marie Jynch!
I can’t express how wonderful Glee was for me and for all gay people in the world. You changed public perception and built everlasting respect for LBGT people
My God, Unique's heels (sorry, don't know the name of the actor/actress), you rocks girl. Duh, just watching all these videos about the gay today because I miss my big bro who happens to be gay ^^
except the fact that darren is straight and married to a woman and chris has a strong relationship here i am during coronatimes watching this and shipping them. 29.03.2020 00.50 #crisscolfer
Holy shit Darren/Blaine voice just gives me chills all over my body. And: 1. Happy that Lea/Rachel is not with them, 2. Unhappy that Ashley/Marcedes and Naya/Santana not there. Why?
I super love Jenna (and Tina of course) but I really think they made Chris sing this with Darren, Kevin and Mark. Though they need a girl's voice but you know Chris' girl-pitched voice, right? *shrugs*
the back-up singers probably have been around since season 1 but we just don't notice or see them because, i don't know, they record the songs in a studio
Pretty sure that is the only time I’ve ever heard Mark and Jenna sing together. As Puck and Tina I don’t believe that they ever had a duet. (I miss his voice so much)
I see Jane Lynch on Glee (I'm watching now in 2023 for the first time) as a female J. R. Ewing. I'd love to see those characters go at each other in a boardroom.
mlkjoon wth?! Wth does “aromantic” and “agender” mean? Quit making stuff up, America! Y’all getting weirder and weirder all the damn time! Just ask the whole world!
Someone can to write me the Chris's speech? I'm mexican, i really try to understand but damn it's so difficult only with listen. It's most easy to read it. JAJAJA
We are so happy to be here tonight to honor our friend, Jane Lynch. I cannot think of someone more deserving of this recognition for the work they've done for the LGBTQIA community. And although I'm not sure how many letters apply to Jane, I have seen first hand how she has made the world a better place for LGBTQIA youth. You should see the kids run up to her whenever we're at a Glee event. They run up to her and say "Mr. Lynch, Mr. Lynch, you're our inspection, we look up to you so much" and it's hard not looking up to Jane, I mean physically she is so damn tall, and personally she is so inspirational. Her character however, the iconic Sue Sylvester, is possibly the most demeaning, verbally abusive, and awful human being to ever appear on our television sets. Which is so ironic since Jane improvises all of her lines. So now my fellow cast mates and I would like to delight you Sue, or "Jane", with some of your most profound things that our characters have heard coming from your massive, twisted, potty mouth. Over the course of the last four years, I've gotten to come to work everyday and have you look at me and call me the following: porcelain, gay kid, Eddie Munster, tickle me dough face, and twinkle tush. Frankly I'm proud of that last one. And once she said to me "though your flamboyance offends me, sometimes your face reminds me of one of those puppets they use in the library to teach kids about kidnappers". Thank you Jane, I love you too.
