I saw an interview where Darren said he is allergic to cats and dogs but still loves them And here he is holding a little cutie and playfully dancing with him. Wow. That's a really strong dedication. Makes us love him even more.
I know, as a massive animal lover myself, it makes me love him all the more how much he loves them too even when he's allergic :'D (Also, I hate to turn this into a roasting Lea thing, but I happened to just come across a clip from the audio version of Naya's book, and apparently a lot of the drama that went down between her and Lea was during the filming for this episode, and she made a big stink about the dogs and demanded hand sanitizer any time one was near her. And I can't help but think: girl, Darren was out there having a blast and enjoying the puppies, and he's allergic!!")
@@luke8979 She doesn’t have to like dogs but she didn’t have to be so mean about it. My parents don’t like dogs but they aren’t mean to them. It’s crazy how Darren went near the dogs and he’s allergic. He had a reason not to go near them. But Lea isn’t allergic and she was being so mean about it like come on. Dogs are amazing.
@niamhbradley7919, I know. But the way he held her was adorable like she was his own daughter. I don't think Darren would want to be my service dog's uncle tho. He's allergic to her. She's a Labradoodle.
Sophia was probably hypoallergenic, but maybe, just maybe, in this scene, she was also pregnant with puppies. Which would've made my boy's allergy way worse.
listening to naya's audiobook then coming to this performance makes this all different, the drama behind the scenes of this.. impressive that they act as normal as their characcers either way
@@SuperZamForever naya said in her book that lea was difficult in this episode cos a guest star improvised his lines and lea wanted him to do it the scripted way...but the casts didn't see anything wrong with it So lea stopped filming and locked herself in a trailer for a long time cos she was pissed Then naya told the production people to do their jobs well and it almost cost naya her job
@@lindsaytallman Lea was refusing to come out of her trailer, touch the dogs or let the older folks improv a bit so Naya asked one of the producers why he wasn't handling her attitude. He said smth like 'I've been running this show for 6 years' so she said 'yeah, badly' andddd they wrote her off the last episode, downgrading her to a guest star in season 6...
This song deserved better, especially that iconic "be my little baby" chorus, but how can you equal to Ronnie Spector? It should´be been only Santana and Darren or even Sam whom I usually dismiss but he fits Eddie Money's vocals. Or even better a Brittana duet.
Ok, take a song about a man crooning to a woman wanting to go home with her to have sex all night & recontextualize most of the lyrics to be about pet adoption. Sure...
Not Glee related, but did everybody hear about a new movie coming to theaters this year? Journey To Bethlehem is a 2023 Christian Christmas musical movie starring Milo Manheim, Antonio Banderas, and Joel fricking Smallbone from For King & Country. This movie is the classic Nativity story that takes classic Christmas songs and turns them into the same songs but with a little more oomph...pop songs. In case you need to know, Journey To Bethlehem releases in theatres November 10th, 2023 nationwide.
I really dislike Blaine as a character....he acts so pompous and like he is the one and everything....like calm down you don't hold a candle to rachel or Mercedes
Thomas Evans Really? I love Blaine and can’t stand either of the others. It is strange how opposite tastes can be. That being said, the fact that I love Blaine’s character so much (he and Kurt helped me come to terms with my sexuality when thee show was pretty new, plus I think he is such a sweetheart most of the time, but still has flaws which makes him more realistic) and the fact that I am a massive Darren Criss fan may make me hear his voice through rose-tinted earbuds. Darren’s voice, though, is definitely one of my favourite voices I have ever heard. I always feel that Rachel and Mercedes are overrated. Not that they aren’t (obviously) talented, but Rachel’s voice is a little too pure and simultaneously whiny for me, and I just really dislike the sound of Mercedes’ singing voice. And I very much dislike both of their characters.
@@cordeliapalmer5800 I guess if you like a character more your going to prefer it when they sing. I love Santana and Mercedes and Brittany. I like the other characters too but ever since Kurt danced during seasons of love I can't stand him.
Suré De Beer Oh, no. I also think Darren Criss is far and away one of the best singers in the show. My absolute favourite. I definitely prefer his voice to anyone else’s.
Suré De Beer Technically, sure, but I find her voice boring. I can’t stand either Mercedes or Santana. Santana’s voice is fine, but I can’t stand to listen to Mercedes sing. I always skip over her parts.
@@commonfrickinsense4819 it's a show about show choir of course it's going to be gay. It's also well known for dealing with issues like homophobia. So why are you watching glee videos if your homophobic.
