He has, especially before he joined glee. In the throwback 2009 episode in season 6, he is shown picking up a pamphlet that says "ending it all: the pros and cons.". Thank God he didn't go through with it tho bc then he would have never met Blaine, the love of his life, they never would have had a beautiful life together, he never would've become friends with rachel (one of my fav friendships even tho she doesnt really deserve him), had a deeper relationship with finn, become closer to his father (burt is my FAV!!) or been there to raise his beautiful baby daughter or accomplish any of his broadway dreams
We know Kurt did and thanks to 2009 know his details but watch circles eyes the difference is the ones in circle who thought about never acted on three thoughts way Krafosky did.
kurt’s posture, eyes and his choked “is it true?” makes me cuddle him up and remind him that he has been so strong since he joined glee :( i wonder if emma mentioned to will the time when she first met kurt:(
She probably wouldn't have mentioned it to Will. Guidance counselors keep everything confidential, but would only mention something involving someone's safety to that person's parent.
Legally, she can't...not unless it's to protect Kurt or someone else. Since there's no imminent danger now, the confidentiality guarantee remains in place.
I know im late to the discussion, but I can't believe the lack of people talking about this. It gave such subtle hints. Like when Burt said "glee club saved my son's life" and his face in this just tell it all.
The PorkyThePig I know in latest to the conversation but Kurt lifted a suicide pamphlet and everything he even thought about dying I’m not sure I think kurt was still depressed all the way threw glee look at the way his moods swing back and fourth sometimes if he got humiliated he would use his sass to stand fourth but on some occasions he literally ran away
OhmyEdendun Arrow I agree. Kurt closes himself off and uses sass as a defense mechanism. It was so painfully obvious to see how he struggled throughout all the seasons concerning his self image and things like that. A lot of people come to the conclusion that he was extremely proud to be who he was. And yes he was happy to be himself, but that doesn't mean the comments directed at him didnt impact him(bullying in season 2). You know what I mean?
Puck graduated, Alma admitted her love for Santana, all 50 states have legalized same sex marriage, Tina got quite a few songs, Kurt’s dad pushed an evidently successful fight for marriage equality, Rachel kept almost all her high school friends, and they won regionals! Not too shabby!
Sam: Buying a house for his family Mercedes: Meeting Rachel's kids Artie: Seeing his kid's first steps Sugar: Sex and the City Part III Puck: Graduating high school Finn: Change his dad's dishonorable discharge to honorable discharge Quinn: Graduating Yale at top of her class Santana: Her grandmother loving her again Brittany: Lord Tubbington kicking his ecstasy addiction Blaine: Marraige equality in all 50 states Mike: Dancing at Carnegie Hall Tina: A song Kurt: Watching Burt make a difference in Congress Rachel: Being friends with everyone for the rest of their lives Rory: Winning at Regionals
Santana, Puck, Rachel and Rory got what they wanted. Mercedes got it half of it because in the series finale Rachel was pregnant. Well and Tina also because seasons later she had more than a song.
"You know, I'm most looking forward to meeting Rachel Berry's children." That just makes me laugh so hard I can't breathe every single time I hear it. I can't help it. It's just too funny!
Samaria Johnson tasting peanut butter was a great experience for the Irish boy. He's saying that everyone lives only once so if he had commit suicide, he wouldn't have experienced so many things in life
He didn't he talked about his experience and that's it and then just asked what they looked forward to. I can see in three peoples eyes they've been a lot closer then Mercedes realizes. Very good acting by the way.
His character was boring. Out of everyone in the Glee Project's first season, Alex's character was the most unique, no pun intended. They tried to introduce Rory to create this "diversity" effect, but in the end, they only used him for Brittany humor. Joe and Rory were pointless as hell on Glee.
@@outside8312 Yeah, Boardwalk Empire gave it's Irish and Irish-American characters more of a story. And I've got to say, after watching 'Derry Girls' I'm feeling more and more disappointed with America's portrayal of the Irish.
Mercedes is just wrong you can see in Kurt,Blaine and Artie's eyes they at least thought about it. They've been there we only know Kurt's full story but you can see they've been there.
They've only stated that Kurt was suicudal (as far as I know) but Artie was in a car crash when he was 8 so that would give him severe trauma and Blaine had an awful high school life before transferring to Dalton so it wouldn't be too far fetched to claim that Artie and Blaine both considered taking their lives at one point
Look at the faces some are mostly confused but three of them you can tell have been at the edge. We only know Kurt's story but he wasn't only one's face who spoke volumes here three faces did.
Maddy it was Artie and Blaine you can see them desperately trying to avoid eye contact and they where extremely hand fidgety. There eyes where darting as well as heads more down then most of others.
Krisstina Wilson The baby Rachel had for Blaine and Kurt is technically hers and in the finale number, she wasn’t pregnant which means she had the child. Mercedes is friends with all three so why wouldn’t she
@@isaiahowens5322 Biologically it's hers and she will always be a part of the child's life but I view that child as Kurt and Blaine's child and Rachel is the aunt/possible godmother.
I find it so haunting watching episodes of Finn worrying about and planning for his future knowing he doesn’t get one. A truly heart breaking situation and an unspeakable amount of wasted talent. Rest easy Cory. We miss you. 💓
Faberry is real in this scene. When Quinn said the thing she was most exited about, it showed Rachel smiling, and when Rachel said the thing she was most exited about, it showed Quinn smiling.
Why does that remind me of that one scene in Supergirl where Kara is asked if she’s dating anyone and it cuts to Lena smiling and averting her eyes for NO reason
I love that instead of saying “ i can’t wait to be a big broadway star” Rachel said the thing about being friends. I just think that’s some great character development ❤️
This scene shows that most of the time Rachel may come off as unlikeable and selfish, always wanting the spotlight, but deep down she really does care for her friends (or at least she’s grown to care for them). She could’ve said something like “I’m looking forward to my Broadway debut” but she knows what’s actually important.
It makes sense she says what she says because she knows she isn't well-liked and is self-conscious about it, so she wants to keep her friends, as she knows her talent is there with plenty of Broadway roles to have
@@rbishop95 makes sense, like she KNOWS she’s gonna make her Broadway debut but if none of her friends are there to cheer her on what does it matter anway
2:01 to 2:03. Kurt's face look so concerned. I definintely feel for Kurt. Kurt is so an innocent and inspiring character. I see the pain in his eyes as he says 'Is that true?" Poor Kurt to hear this.
I have to admit, looking back on the scene now, how Mr Schue gets Rory to taste peanut butter, with how PC people have become about nut allergies there would be an outcry wondering if he was allergic. Clearly the actor cleared it over prior. Also love how Blaine's wish is now reality. I remember doing an assignment in high school and stating how, at the time, it was only legal in six states. Glad that it is now nationwide in the US. Also did one back in my Year 7 (freshman year to States) class, about how I hoped (and didn't expect) it to pass legally in Australia during my lifetime. Progress prevailed and now it is legal nationwide in all six states and two territories.
I remember that I had a dream with this scene last night, but it was totally different. As far as I remember, Mercedes said that probably nobody there considered taking their own lives. Will said nothing, but Kurt did. "I did". Silence for a few seconds. Everyone seemed surprised (Blaine was the most surprised, and he even seemed nervous, paralyzed). Will seemed calm, something told me that Emma had already told him (I don't know how I knew that, but I did). Kurt avoided the looks of the others and kept talking. "I think everyone here knows why I considered ending my life. I was totally alone, suffering daily bullying, afraid of someone discovering my sexuality. I was invisible, so I knew that if one day I decided to finish everything, nobody would care". He laughed bitterly. "Emma discovered my intentions, she told my dad. Then he asked me to join a school club, so I decided to join the Glee Club, and you don't know how happy I'm to have done it." And suddenly the dream is over. :^))))
someone u dont care your dream sounds frightening even your name sounds frightening I’m sure somebody cares and I do because I’m replying to your comment about your weird glee dream 😂 I thought I was the only one who had them
Rory is hardly the most difficult Irish name (even if they did spell it ruadhri) but honestly i wouldn't have been surprised if they managed to completely butcher it
I'm sorry but when Mercedes said that she didn't think anyone there would think of taking there own lives all I could think was honey your not in there brains now are you?
I've been fighting depression sense I was diagnosed in elementary school and it's not easy especially in high school and middle school but I've walked on that suicided self harm tightrope so many times and it scared me every time and one day I couldn't take it anymore I was so done with that emotional roller-coaster I was on so I told my parents and they got me the help I needed and I am so glad I told them because I love living and getting able to experience things that I would have missed out on had I not asked for my parents help and I am so glad I asked for their help and I don't regret asking for their help either I felt so relieved when I finally go the help I needed
I love season 3. Their senior year, there’s so many moments when the people who were once at each others skin are bonding and just having fun singing, my little gleek heart can’t take it. Ik everyone has their favs and antis but I love them all sm in this season and this scene is so cute
Matthew Poliachik 1. That was my thought the first time i saw it... how do you know he isn’t allergic??? But 2. If you think about it, he’s what 16,17, by this point he has to have eaten nuts at some point, just not peant butter. In cookies, on ice-cream, snack bars, or something. Or in some other way been exposed. So he, Rory, would have known by this point if he was allergic or at least had a reaction in the past. So he wouldn’t have eaten the peanut butter.
Anyone else felt when Mr.Schue was talking about taking his own life get the Breakfast Club vibes when Andrew talks about his dad? Or is it just me 🤨?!
based on the reactions to this discussion, I would argue that Artie, Blaine, Kurt, Puck, and Santana have considered taking their lives. you can see the shift in their faces when the discussion starts. they got defensive because for a few of them, they have a reputation to keep up. but the way they avoid eye contact and shift uncomfortably just shows that to me
@@haleywilly5675 it continuously states into space? maybe it's just me that interprets it that way. also I've never noticed mike before that's really interesting wow. thanks for pointing that out for me it helps me see him in a different way.
@@jdoggyyyyy I guess because the camera really isn't focusing on blaine too much, but yeah i rewatched the video and I can see him staring at the floor at times even when Mr. Shue decided to 'change' the topic to what they would want to stay alive for, so I can see it now. I was really surprised nobody noticed his reactions, and it definitely gives a new light on his character. Perhaps suicidal thoughts came with the constant disapproval from his father, but either way I felt for him.

i know mark salling did horrible, unforgivable things that absolutely turn my stomach but idk why i still feel this eerie sadness when i think about him and the way his life ended
I thought about it. I didn’t act on it, but I couldn’t leave my cousin’s, because I didn’t want to miss them growing up. There’s always something worth living for. Your death will affect someone
i love that scene❤ Could you please upload the scene wgere quinn and rachel are talking in the auditorium and rachel walks out crying and writes get it right (s02e16)?
I can't believe I became Sugar... I'm waiting for The Vampire Lestat, wich is season 3 of IWTV and it's probably coming out in fall 2025, that is my goal now
The ONE thing that has always bothered me about glee is the fact that they thought because he's Irish he's never had peanut butter like fam... we in Ireland thoroughly enjoy a bit of Reece's 🙄🙄 it just bothered me as an Irish person 😣
Yeah, I always assumed it was something Damian Mcginty mentioned in passing and they decided to include it in the show. It happens often. Though I've seen videos from several foreign exchange students (not necessarily Irish) who have never tasted peanut butter or are amazed by how much PB Americans consume!
It wasn’t them implying Irish ppl don’t eat peanut butter 🙄 that’s you reading too much into it. It’s just that Rory personality hasn’t ever tasted it. They probably just wanted some food substance to use in this scene to showcase “trying something new” and went with peanut butter since it would have been the most shocking food to have never tried considering it’s so damn popular in America.
