But he really didn't defend Kurt directly he just watched till Mike was thrown into Artie. Oh not surprised as it makes ppl so angry in Glee club if anything happens to Artie. Ppl give Sam to much credit in this scene.
Miss Amanda's world None of them were violent until Karofsky pushed Mike. They were trying to sort it out without violence, but once violence was involved, they retaliated. But, due to Puck being unable to be involved, Finn refusing, and Mike and Artie both being on the floor, that was Sam sticking up for Kurt, as well as Mike and Artie.
Rebecca, Puck did nothing at all I know he couldn't. But he deserves 0 praise. I'm not saying what Sam did was bad it's just fact is he wasn't actually standing up for Kurt. Artie and Mike took it upon themselves to do it. He was standing up mostly for Artie and sort of Mike I say this based on Sam's behavior in regards to Artie in S2. He went in and got physical because Mike was thrown into Artie. Kurt wasn't ounce on Sam's mind.
Miss Amanda's world Quinn said that Sam wasn't her boyfriend--possible that they didn't put him up to it, which is why he wasn't part of the confrontation in the first place. That's what I took from it, at least.
okay but mike was literally one of the best characters in the whole show. he was never picky and never bailed when something bad happened. they should've used him more, harry's a damn great actor.
I’m lowkey happy they didn’t, but only bc if he was around more they would’ve found ways to fck up his character to the point where we dislike him (kinda what happened to Blaine)
@@AlienQueen2000 Me neither,I also sit and wait for him to be all like "Yeah, i'm the son of the prince of hell and i'm married to this dude called Alec who kills demons and is honestly just the sweetest human being." Lesson to be learned here?: ▪Don't watch Glee right after Shadowhunters.

ARTHUR JOSEPH please don't hate me or to judge me and I'm jus a sayin that you use waaay to much of emojis and I think that they are there to use out of our own feelings
No one messes with Artie someone will slam you. Artie and Mike told him back off friend and k(I don't feel like trying to spell name he goes by) decided to throw Mike into Artie and it was just like nope. Sam slammed K into locker like nope no way.
Giorgos Pyromallis Their friendship arc was so fun to watch. Going from hating each other to literal best friends. She even carried his and Blaine's baby as their surrogate mother. ☺️
she actually cares about everyone, the thing about her is that she was so self-centered... the most self-centered of all them, who were selfish as well...
Finn is such a hypocrite. In season one and the bad reputation video, he told rachel off for thinking of her reputation instead of her relationships, but then he goes and does the EXACT same thing here
You're telling me that Artie, a guy in a wheelchair, had more courage to defend Kurt than his own stepbrother who's completely fit and can be intimidating if he wants to?
We're always going on about how Rachel is so selfish- but Finn- THIS probably trumps any selfish act Rachel ever committed- caring more about your reputation than the wellbeing of your stepbrother? WOW Finn, just.... WOW!
Rebekah Segun i agree. Even though rachel and kurt weremt good friends she is the only member of the club to notice that he is losing weight and that he looks miserable. She knew he was lonely . And she told everyone to help him. Nobody else did. Instead finn cared about being quarterback and didnt help kurt. I really wanted to punch him in his face at that episode. Side note: sorry for any grammar mistakes
Finn was worried about kurt but why would he purposely make the guy who protects him mad, he did it once and got injured because of it, there are many ways to protect someone rather than with violence, if finn is the leader everyone in this show claims he is he would find a way to solve it
Very much so. He was right not to get involved in this instance, since he can't be any use to anyone if he's in Juvie, but he's the only one who had a good excuse for not getting involved. Finn absolutely should have done more.
I really enjoy Mike. He's never the "star" but he does his job to quiet satisfaction, is loyal beyond fault and has a great relationship to everyone around him. I was he was used a bit more but then again, maybe he wouldn't be as awesome when he DID something.
what i NEVER got about glee, was how finn was always presented as this 'leader'. back in season one when the boys are made to choose between glee and football, puck, mike and matt all aren't afraid to choose glee, whereas finn bends under the pressure and chooses football, he stands up rachel when he's supposed to take a photo for the year book with her, he's quite regularly homophobic or at least uncomfortable with kurt in season 1 and 2, and in season 3 outs santana, he's a coward in this scene- artie in a wheelchair had more balls than him! He is the epitome of a follower not a leader.
Georgia Exactly, someone OVERHEARD them, is not like he went telling every single person “hEy GuEsS wHaT SaNtAnA iS LeSbIan” also, he wasn’t the one who made the commercial that actually outed her
Finn said he could protect Kurt if he was on top....he really meant he could protect "himself" if he was on top! What if Kurt never went to dalton and the bullying continued he might've ended up doing something terrible! I really loved Sam, Artie, and mike in this scene
Sam was protecting Artie not Kurt it's fine but it's fact. Mike kind of follows Artie it's kind of weird but of course he's going to help defend Kurt because his gf and Artie said to. But Sam protecting and helping Artie couple times gave some ppl weird ideas on fanfiction.net
Kaya Rossman I want you to remember that this is a show and nothing would have happened to Kurt, just realize that by the time things got really bad the football season would have been long done and Finn would have stepped up because in S2 Karofsky was in his senior year
Why does no one acknowledge Artie's part on defending Kurt he started confrontation to protect Kurt . Mike backed up Artie. Then when Karfosky got physical Sam jumped in. Yes Puck couldn't fight but he could've said need any help Mike. He froze because he couldn't fight. Yes Finn was being absolute tool. Give Artie acknowledgement for being good friend to Kurt which is really risky already being in chair.
I dunno, in the show it was shown that they intentionally held back from doing anything bad to artie because they wouldn't feel good with harassing someone who's in a wheelchair. I genuinely thought he was being cocky and thought he could 'hide' behind that fact. It was simmiliar when he got slushied for the first time. He literally said "You wouldn't wanna slushy someone who is in a wheelchair, right?" I think he got overconfident and I also think that it was not Karofsky's intention to knock him over. He pushed Mike away who fell into artie resulting in both of them falling down. Though it IS cool to see that they all (apart from dumbass Finn) stood up for Kurt. You could also tell that Puck wanted to help out but he was afraid of being sent back to Juvey..
Yes it does and it also says a lot about both Mike and Artie how they where able to form such tight friendship with one another inspite of what Tina did most guys in that situation would at nicest avoid each other.
Blu Moon love Mike, from what I've seen of him on the show, he's a great guy always ready to stand up and do what's right, and being a great friend defending his friends. Go Mike!
I really felt bad for Santana in this clip. She wanted to help, but the others excluded her because Puck would probably get into trouble if he beat anyone up.
MusicalFanatic04 I admit, it was sad that they excluded Santana, but for me, I’m sure she wouldn’t have had Puck confront Karofsky, she would have done it herself. Also, Santana was the one who made it safe for Kurt to transfer back - even though she had her own self-centred reasons for doing it.
KnowledgeGatherer DraftSaver You're so right, and honestly I don't think she needed Puck to defend Kurt, this girl kills with words, like in this scene which comes some episodes later when she defends Kurt and Blaine. I don't understand Rachel in this scene, like if she really wanted to help Kurt why did she refuse Santana's help and even presence there ?
I just love how the boys care enough about Kurt to stick up for him now that they have become friends through Glee club. This never would have happened if Mr. Schue hadn’t decided to bring the Glee club back in season 1. Plus the fact that Sam literally rush Kurofsky after he knocks Mike and Artie over was perfect because it shows that he’s willing to pick a fight with someone for the sake of protecting his friends.
He was the biggest hypocrite. He was also portrayed as the perfect leader, the good guy so to say. He got mad at Rachel for prioritizing her reputation over her relationships but he was shown to do the same thing numerous times (not being with her for the photoshoot and not standing up for kurt for example)
Mike, Artie, Sam and Puck are the best in this episode. I know you’re probably wondering why I said Puck too, it’s because you can tell he really wanted to help and stick up for Kurt. But he’s on probation, but you can see in his face that he would’ve joined in the fight. And most people don’t like Artie but I think that this is so brave of him. He’s in a wheelchair and he’s not afraid to stick up to bullies. And he won’t let Kurt be bullied. And he fell out of his wheelchair and that must’ve been hard. Mike was also super brave. He stood up for Kurt and didn’t hesitate to start a fight and he helped Artie after getting knocked over. And Sam! I don’t think Quinn asked him to do anything because if she did tell him, he would’ve talked with Dave at the start. But he just jumped right in! I love those guys so much. Finn on the other hand... he did nothing for Kurt. AND HE’S HIS BROTHER! He just doesn’t want to hurt his chance of being quarterback. I agree with Rachel, I’m disappointed. I don’t like Rachel that much but she’s so sweet and will do anything for Kurt and I admire that. And the fact is Kurt didn’t ask for any of this! They thought of this on their own because they didn’t like how Dave was hurting Kurt inside. I really hate Finn for not being there for Kurt. And at the end of the episode, I found it so sweet that the guys said that they would be there for him and they would protect him and they actually genuinely cared. They didn’t want him to leave. I really love them Wow that was really long. If you took time to read this, thank you. I usually write a lot 😂
I honestly don't think girls had had time to ask boys like they planned. Artie and Mike noticed did something and Sam really likes Artie so reacted. Mike and Artie inspite of Tina became best friends so his reaction makes sense. But yeah to everything else you said.
@@majormana1 Just because it was the next scene doesn't mean there was not time in between. We see that Rachel had time to speak to Finn. What would be the point of the Rachel/girl scene then?
Well, I was gonna write a long comment to say all of this, but then I read what you wrote and I just wanna say thank you. The only thing I'd add, in defense of Noah again, is that, when they were gonna play the championship game and Finn told Puck to go motivate the other guys of the team so they would come and sing with the Glee Club, Karovsky disagreed and Puck told him to shut the hell up, saying that he hurt "his boy Kurt" which shows how much he actually cared about him.
Rachel was so right in this scene. She may have been selfish but she always cared about Kurt and many other people. All Finn cared about was being quarterback.
@@HelloIIIVIII I totally respect that. You learn, but how they wrote it IMO wasn’t executed that well as he constantly kept messing up. It just looked like he just apologized and got away with it without having serious consequences. I dunno.
Oh my gosh I'm so happy I found this! I remember I was so mad when I saw the boys defending Kurt without Noah doing anything, but now I understand... I didn't know he couldn't confront Karovsky because of his probation, I must've skipped that. Forgave him now. Thank you so much for the scene!
Finn and Rachel deserved each other. They were both so selfish. I remember the "Grilled Cheesus" episode. Burt is in the hospital and Finn is worried about a damn grilled cheese sandwich and going to second base.
@@lightninglances9178 she sent the girl to an inactive crackhouse it was not her intention to see her get hurt just miss the audition. Wrong still but Yes there is a difference.
Mike and Sam are very underrated. They are both in my opinion the best glee boys along with Blaine. Sam is my favorite character he’s such a sweetheart
