Glen More Gameplay Runthrough 

Congratulations on the 100th run through. I have to say out of all the boardgame reviews and videos I really enjoy yours the most. They really give a sense of the game and if it is for you. The fact also that you mainly play 2 player helps as our group is small as well. Up to four players usually. I also love your game choices as we love euros as well. Now I just have to wait until they come out here in Australia. And just to make others jealous I can pick this up here in Oz - highest bidder?

Hi Richard, I finally obtained a copy of this game from an Canadian online retailer! The availability in North America has been very elusive for quite some time. Ever since I saw this video 2 years ago, I have been wanting to buy this game thanks to your enthusiastic recommendation. As some people know, it is not available in the US or even in English language for that matter. But the German version from Ravensburger is finally somewhat easy to get a hold of through Canada, so I will be playing the same version you are showing here in the video. Thanks for putting this video out and fueling my acquisition disorder!

Around 23:00ish you should have put down the grain field first and the pasture after that, because the grain field was the tile you got first. So you should have had 2 grain and 1 cattle.

Now why did you have to go and do this one? Wanted it for a while but it's OOP and Rio Grande have no plans to reprint. :-(

Hi Richard! I was abble to get a copy of Glen More, the english Rio grande version. According to BGG the Ravensburger version weight double as Rio Grande one. So german version has got better quality components that english one?

I think you forgot to pay for the tile at around 20:00. And I can't wait for 100 more games.

Clansman isn't bad :(

You don't focus much (if at all?) on the end-game "give up 3 VP for each extra tile in your tableau as compared to player with least tiles in tableau." Picking up every tile you can get your hands on ... is not necessarily the best way to go. I have turned many a game around by trying to "get the most out of the least tiles" in this great game.

I have the German version of this fun game. Where can I find the English aid for the buildings used in this video? Could not see it in the BGG Forum. Cheers,

Hey, great runthrough! A friend of mine just sent me a copy he got for me on Essen. Question: if you have enough movement points at your last round, can you actually turn all your clansmen into chieftains?

Shouldn't Jen have received clansmen on her 3rd and 4th moves since she then activated the village? 13:00 ish.

Recently purchased game. Love it. In a 2 player game we call the die Richard, or Dick for short.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with saying 'clansman', as it refers to the clans (and their people) from our Celtic history. Just remember the film Highlander: "Connor MacLeod of the Clan MacLeod"

Just wondering, do you still own Glen More?

Question for everyone. How many times can I exchange resources at the fair or butcher (or any brown tile) for each activation? For instance if I have 4 Beef, can I use the butcher twice (2 for 4 VP, then 2 more for 4 VP) in one turn (activation)? Hope the question is clear. Thanks in advance.

just got this version of the game. didn't find GM2 too interesting, and that gigantic box is a turn off for me.
