Two different styles... and approaches.... Glenn is a drummer first, who is extremely gifted and was able to play by age 9. You hear his percussions from his drum background in his style, and his finger dexterity and speed resembles a drummers and his ability to leave pocket while remaining in pocket is def drummer like.... Cory Henry is a prodigy period, he’s been playing in EVERY KEY since he was 3 years old (video shows), he not only is a prodigy but he also got the best of two worlds with schooling, he was around some of the greatest COGIC musicians growing up which made him proficient, but he also went to school where he learned theory and allowed him to not just be a “church musician” but a broad flat out gifted musician.... I’ve seen Cory go so deep into theory and his own creativity that 95% of the baddest church musicians can’t dive into that deep water.... that’s not saying Glenn isn’t comparable, I just know that Glenn picked up keys AFTER drums, and he isn’t schooled in theory and he had to put his hours in to become fluent and fluid as he is... Cory put the work in but he was gifted as a child prodigy from toddler age and along with perfect pitch, and schooling and background he’s what he is today.
