Glenn Miller's hit 1939 song. This song came from an evolution of another Glenn Miller tune, "Now I Lay Me Down to Weep," in 1935. Moonlight Serenade was composed under the tutelage of Joseph Schillinger. It features the "Miller sound," in which a clarinet leads a saxophone section.
