The City of Glens Falls, NY (Warren County) firefighters were dispatched to 209 South Street for a reported structure fire. Law enforcement arrived and reported a working structure fire on the second floor. While enroute, fire command requested a second, then third alarm. The extreme heat and humidity brought several ambulances from Queensbury & Moreau to treat firefighters for heat related illnesses; South Queensbury Vol Fire was requested to the scene to refill SCBA bottles. National Grid responded to the scene to cut power to the building; it is unknown if the resident(s) were home at the time; the fire is under investigation.
