Hi Glint Team, love the overall business concept and the background story of the company’s mission. I have a few questions: - When I purchase gold via Glint is there a certificate of ownership (akin to a share) for my physical gold deposit? - Furthermore, given that the physical gold resides in Switzerland, what are my rights as a non-Swiss citizen with regards to ownership? I ask because there’s a potential political risk of the Swiss government sizing my assets. Keen to hear why the gold is held physically in Switzerland in particular. Thanks in advance.

The audio graphic is annoying. Gold goes up and down but it is still a great investment, especially long term.

Why just Gold? Why not all precious metals? And what happens when silver can’t be manipulated any more and 170 years of inflation catches up with J.P. Morgan ? And then silver and gold shoot through the moon, will that mean your money increased in value by however many times the metal increased? I do love what you’re doing.

Unfortunately for me they gave a card with white edges and white numbers. Not gold coloured..☹️..but it's fine. The app is the main thing.

If you're an Apple User, go to the Apple store and read the negative reviews before making a decision. Overall, the Glint App has a positive rating but it's always those negs you have to read because those downsides could happen to you. One customer asks, ''what proof is there that my gold is actually in the vault''. Another customer topped up his Glint account using another card by £20.00 and that money went missing, never showed up on his account and customer services never got back to hm. £1.50 to use the ATM with a Glint Card and monthly payment for the vault charges. Charging £5.00 for a new Glint card when your old one expires. I personally think this App is a scam just to get your personal details.

I have being using my glint card for a while and I’m happy with it. Probably use it more when negative interest rates commence. Can see the benefits when gold increases in price in the future.

A brilliant concept. Is there a limit that you can hold in the wallet and if not, are there any security issues? ie, can it be hacked into or like banks, is there a chance we could lose our money/gold. Also if gold goes up or down, will that be reflected in our accounts where we have bought gold?

I love this. I have an account now. I think a thing to add that would be amazing is a storage for silver as well. I know maybe not using silver to buy things. But I would love just one app that has my silver and gold in one spot.

HI, Glint sounds like the best, but I have to ask if anyone can tell me......what about tax implications. Do you have to pay tax on your deposits. Say you deposit $500 and tomorrow, gold goes up and you have $550....do you have to pay tax on that $50? Hope someone can answer. Thanks.

Question: if i want to buy a house priced at $800,000 fiat dollars, can i purchase that house in gold without paying for the inflation. eliminating the inflation that house should go for say $80,00 in gold, how can this be accomplished with GLINT debit card.???

About 10 years ago there was a company called BitGold doing exactly what Glint does.... That company ended up failing on this idea. How is this different?

How is our gold secure? Feels like at any time Glint can disappear and since we don't hold our gold physically, we end up with nothing and where does Glint get the gold and where is it stored.

Hi Kathy, as a Glint client, you own the gold rather than Glint (or any other party). The gold is held in a secure, insured and independent Brinks vault in Switzerland. That’s exactly what I’m thinking they can just disappear at anytime and I don’t understand why they won’t send us all of the gold we have in our account. They tell me their not a gold exchange but if you have the gold in a vault then there shouldn’t be no problem

FACT! If you can't see or touch your gold then you don't own it. I wouldn't trust Glint any more than I would a bank. I don't care if they say the gold is stored in a Brinks vault in Switzerland, If I invest in gold then I want it in my hands.

@@thetruth9210 Or instead of using Glint, find other ways to spend the spare cash. What I mean is, I agree with you about keeping your physical gold with you and hiding it rather than trusting it to another institution but then with spare cash prep with items such as storable foods, medical supplies e.t.c. Just keep the gold as a hedge against inflation.

@@joshais1654 You can have all the gold in your account - it says so on the website. But that would be an expensive way to BUY gold. Also, if you have all the gold, you won't need a card, you can carry the gold around in a wheelbarrow when you go to the supermarket.

Does Glint have an office in the United States? what is the reason for having the gold stored in Switzerland? also, can glint send me actual gold in some form if requested? If so, is there a fee of some sort for this?

I wouldnt use this card as an everyday shopping card. What would it benefit me to purchase something using the card as a consumer. I would use it as an investing tool. Unless im getting some extra perks for using it for regular shopping i dont see the benefit in using it this way.

Be aware: The company claims anyone can become a client but its not true! If you live in the EU like me for ex in Sweden you can not - even though they claim so on their website under FAQ's. What else are they claiming, which is untrue? Who knows....

Hi Niels Moller, sorry to hear that you feel this way about Glint. Unfortunately, our onboarding for EU clients had to be paused due to EU regulations brought about by Brexit. We are working towards authorisation to resume onboarding and we will let everyone know about this in due time. The FAQ pages in our website are being reviewed regularly too.

So if I buy 1 oz.of gold on online today and its worth £1300 per oz and I dont use the card and in a week.the price of gold per oz increases to say £1400 does that mean my 1oz of gold amount on the card auto Increases in to £1400 and I will be able to pay with the £100 that I've made.on it on the card?

Hi Borosniper 77, thanks for your query. The value of your gold will increase or decrease depending on its live market rate. The Glint card enables you to spend the full value of your gold at the time of the transaction, and in your country of residence, there are zero fees. Hope this is helpful information.

At present, our vision at Glint is fully and firmly centred on gold. We do however, understand that clients would like to be able to also buy or sell silver, so while for the time being the answer is no, there is a chance this may change in the future.

Hi Mike. Glint Mastercard can only be issued to clients residing in the US and UK at present. It is in our road map for Canadian residents however there is no timeline for this currently. Canadian clients can already use the Glint app to buy and sell gold and FX at a very competitive rate. You can also benefit rom our peer-to-peer payment system, which allows Glint clients to send each other gold and funds within the app. You are also able to top up your account using Canadian dollars but please note that it will be converted into GBP unless a different e-wallet is selected.

For example, if I wanted to fly over to switzerland could I see it if I wanted to? I presume its not private storageor glint and you use someone else for storage. If ever stolen by a government or criminal am I insured thru GLINT?

Your expenses are using your local currencies while your deposits change with the price of gold. Gold dropped 25% early in 2021.

I agree crypto can be changed too, Bitcoin has been radically changed in the past. I believe crypto is not as stable as many believe (in term as fundamental characteristics)..
