When Mario picks up something, the object is set to be hold, and disappears from the map (with the exception of bob-ombs that go in front of Mario). An equivalent model is then loaded into Mario's hands, and the rendering function updates the HOLP to the position of the object. If the hat in hand glitch is active, the HOLP won't update because the held object is not rendered (this can also be achieved with pause-buffered hitstun, but it's not humanly possible), which results in the object teleporting to the last position of the HOLP. Btw, the "backwards boost" you were talking about is actually an inflated bob-omb pushing Mario backwards, and it also happens when the hat-in-hand glitch is not active (that's how bomb clip, pillarless and carpetless work btw). Carpetless and pillarless also use the handsfree glitch (which can also be an alternate method to do the light chuckya glitch, which is the base of WDW cloning). You forgot to talk about PUs, hyperspeed glitches other than BLJing, pole warping, and the astral projection (when Mario's soul leaves his body, kind of) that happens when Mario picks up a chuckya that picked him up

4:10 There is a reason, actually. Basically, by interrupting the lava boost, you keep all the upward momentum of said lava boost. When the platform moves out from under Mario, he enters a midair state and the momentum is used, thus causing the jump.

The Second Glitch Is The Hat In Hand Glitch And You Can Remotely Throw Something With The Cloning Glitch. TTM Skip. Nothing to explain. Slide kick lava immunity. Nothing else either. The Bobomb Thing. The hitbox is pushing Mario so that’s why. The lava boost thing is VSC (Vertical Speed Conservation) And It is used for the ABC challenges. You can also move with this awesome boost with punching. The Slope Walking Is Frame-Walking. Pannen Has A Video About That. The MIPS Skip is useless because BLJing On The stairs allows us to beat the game with 0 stars. BLJ: Oh boy. A programmer forgot to give a negative speed cap so you can clip through walls. You can also do this on elevators and you can make EVEN MORE speed with pause buffering which allows you to grant immunity from damage blinking. Enough for this. Moneybag Glitch. This is able to make the HUD disappear. Chuckya Thing. Watch Pannen’s video about it. The Clipping Is Because The Floor Is Thin Enough To Clip Through And The Walls Push Mario Out And Because The Wall Hitboxes Push Him Out. TTM Skip.
