Today I am talking about the Global Bright Scholarship. I am attending the International Tourism & Hospitality Management major with the Global Bright Scholarship. Global Bright Scholarship is a scholarship that will reduce 50% of Tuition Fees. It gives only for [Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos & Vietnam] Therefore, if you are going to study at Bangkok University, this is the scholarship you should apply.
Applications for Global Bright Scholarship for Academic Year 2024 January Intake are open now. Subjects that can be applied for
International undergraduate programs
💎 Marketing
💎 Business English
💎 Entrepreneurship
💎 International Tourism and Hospitality Management
💎 Culinary Arts and Design
💎 Communication Strategy and Ideation
💎 Creative Communication Design
💎 Innovative Media Production
You can apply for majors.
The requirements for the scholarship are
1. Application form
2. Passport (minimum one year validity)
3. Matriculation Exam Pass Certificate and Transcript (original and notary) or GED certificate and transcript
4. IELTS 5.0 in each band or Duolingo 80 in each subscore
5. Cover letter or (or) Portfolio
6. Recommendation letter from High School
The scholarship must be applied for by Nov 5
After submitting the application form, there is still an interview stage.
📌📌📌 I would like to share my experience that is not in the Vlog.
The requirements included a personal statement, portfolio, and achievement project in my turn.
In the personal statement, I started with a good hook and storytelling style, and then wrote how I became interested in the major. My skill set is developing because of the volunteering experience I have done. I wrote that I have developed through part-time jobs and that I have standout skills for this scholarship.
For the portfolio, I showed the experience I had related to my education background and major. Achievement was a project I did in business class.
These are the interview questions as much as I could remember.
Interview Questions
1. Can you tell us about your passion for the hospitality and tourism industry?
2. What do you see as the challenges in the hospitality and tourism industry of Myanmar?
3. What specific area within hospitality and tourism are you most interested in, and why?
4. What are your long-term goals, and how will this scholarship help you achieve them?
5. What's Eco-Tourism?
6. What qualities or skills do you possess that make you a standout candidate for this scholarship?
7. What do you think about Thailand's Tourism Sectors?
For the interview questions, study the knowledge about the major you are going to apply for in advance, and make sure to present your clear purpose. Calm down and answer it.
