America is currently plagued by the hydra-headed evil duo of inflation and recession. The worst part about this recession is that consumers are racking up credit card debt. In April alone, credit card debt went up 20% while rates have doubled in a year. Inflation is so high that consumers are literally taking debt for basic life necessities. Collapse has indeed begun..

Professor Wolf is so right on matter fact if you haven’t experienced a strike you’re very fortunate because a strike is war for labor.. I went through a strike against Carl Ichan in 1986 as a flight attendant., he told us if we wanted to friend get a dog, and that we were not breadwinners.. he locked us out for three years people committed suicide.. this was at the height of the AIDS crisis, leaving employees without healthcare.. Our case went to the Supreme Court we won in 1991 .. sadly TWA was acquired by American Airlines. They did not respect one day of our seniority, and let us all off for five years. We must have some laws protecting labor in our country.

Thank FDR for all of it... especially FIAT, then socialism, and finally an unconstitutional, criminal government. If inflation is part of a dual-headed hydra, it has been constant since 1939, and it's not going away... From 1930 to 2012, Total Government Revenue Grew from 11.1 Percent of GDP to 26.4 Percent of GDP and Total Government Spending Grew from 12.1 Percent of GDP to 35.6 percent of GDP If you are unfamiliar with the history or the present state of reality...and the rise of the rentier ( F.I.RE ) sector which is NOT capitalism ( see Michael Hudson ) the following facts will demonstrate it for you. Most Profitable Industries in the US in 2023 Commercial Banking in the US. ... Life Insurance & Annuities in the US. ... Portfolio Management & Investment Advice in the US. ... Software Publishing in the US. ... Private Equity, Hedge Funds & Investment Vehicles in the US. ... Regional Banks in the US. ... Oil Drilling & Gas Extraction in the US. What industry is the most profitable? The most profitable industry varies from year to year, but typically it is one that provides essential goods or services with high demand and low competition. The most profitable industries are consistently commercial banking, accounting, oil and gas extraction, legal services, and real estate.

I was a security guard since 2018 and before 2020 I was a joke in the lockdown I was the closer to the police try securing a water depot in flint Michigan during the lockdown only to come out in 2022 permanently laid off.from April 2021 to February 2022 homeless diabetic with cancelled benefits and I watched giant businesses buy trailer park's jacked up the prices $500 a month extra grocery stores jacked up the food price for the same stuff literally on the shelves 6-8 months prior to the lockdown declared over. Now that fema is $0.00 and insurance companies are not covering beachfront house owners the government is cutting EBT Medicaid Medicare and ssi benefits to send the savings to the wealthy to rebuild.. Our new computer's clock you out no matter if you're not finished on your shift. Not that the cult has the intelligence to ask the right questions, or the knowledge to spot the BS. claims included in the lecture. Nor is there any interaction between the Prof and the questioner, so you have no clue what the actual question was. This is the same process followed in the Ask Prof Wolff segments, and the evidence of this pattern can easily spotted ( on both of the above counts ) because the actual question is available in the show notes...but the Professor never reads the actual question. ( he alters it so that it conforms to fit the answer he has already determined is the answer. ) All you have to do is look...and then tell me I'm wrong, and I usually will have a post in the comments for that segment pointing it out.

Prof. Wolf you are the most informative historians on the history of labor on the internet today. In the end the CIO was subordinated to the democratic party, in a classic trade off: the renunciation by labor of its independent power in exchange for the right to place economic demands upon corporations, known as economism. The U.S. came so close to becoming a socialist country only to roll back all the reforms of the new deal and put the country back in the hands of the oligarchy and the imperialist corporatocracy. Your well thought out concepts on how to implement cooperatives are crucial to the survival of human civilization because finance capitalism is literally destroying the planet.

I refuse to roll over to full time and start of like I just walled off the street to work here. I would have to start over as a day one employee. They would not let me roll over all the years that I've worked there. I have other full time workers say well I had to start over but, what they fell to realize is that it still doesn't make it right. “The production of too many useful things results in too many useless people.” ~ Karl Marx
@JP-fb8ni
@JP-fb8ni 8 месяцев назад
Marx never actually said this. It's a misqoute. However, he did actually say this: "It wishes to see only "useful things produced, but it forgets that production of too many useful things produces too large a useless population." Marx is actually conveying the idea that in capitalist society focused solely on producing "useful things" or commodities for profit, there can also be unintended consequences. When too many useful goods are produced, it can actually lead to a surplus of goods and, consequently, a surplus of people who become unemployed or "useless" in the context of the capitalist system. This is actually a critique of the potential for overproduction and the resulting social and economic problems it can create.

@@jgalt308 Marx's critique isn't actually specifically about government intervention but rather about the inherent contradictions within capitalist production. Ascending the Economic ladder of Wealth is often seen as a measure of security within a Capitalist Society. But our Systems of Social Management unveil that the Oligarchy (as a Political Class) only affords privilege to those Capitalists who aid in generating and maintaining wealth disparity. The problem of driving hierarchical wealth by incentivizing marketplace intermediation (as an opportunity for speculative investors) is that corruption will always be remunerated disproportionately higher than those with the false-beliefs in the ideal of Meritocracy. And this cognitive dissonance may contribute to a mass formation psychosis, which keeps Society within a maladaptive ethos, incapable of escaping Social and Political Dislocation. The Wealth Disparity (in any location) represents a cultural integrity somewhere on the spectrum between “an equitable Society” and “ubiquitous psychopathy”. And, in regards to Wealth Disparity and the Oligarchy, it seems our Society is accelerating towards Vengeance as the virtue behind our so-called “Rule of Law”. There is no Justice without Systemic Justice, and that requires a Revolution within or without our Institutions of Social and Economic Governance.

Under capitalism, climbing the economic ladder is often seen as a path to security. However, within our system of social management, it becomes clear that the oligarchy, as a political class, primarily benefits those capitalists who contribute to and perpetuate wealth inequality. The problem actually lies in incentivising marketplace intermediation, which favours speculative investors and also rewards corruption disproportionately over those who believe in meritocracy. This disconnect can also contribute to a mass formation psychosis, trapping society in an unadaptive ethos, unable to escape social and political turmoil. Wealth disparity, present in any location, also reflects a cultural integrity somewhere between an equitable society and widespread psychopathy. Concerning wealth disparity and the oligarchy, our society, and as you also rightly point out, does indeed appear to be moving towards valuing vengeance as a supposed virtue within our "Rule of Law." And again, as you rightly point out, true justice can only emerge from systemic justice, which, as you say, necessitates a revolution either within or outside our institutions of social and economic governance.

@@jgalt308 Oh, absolutely, we humans are just baffled by our own existence, unlike those other life forms that have it all figured out, right? But hey, pondering our 'primary mission' is what makes us human, so maybe we're onto something after all. 🤔

@@jgalt308 And it's also worth noting that humans, unlike other life forms, possess a unique ability to reflect on and question their purpose and mission. Can someone please me to connect to the technical support and customer service union? I reached out to this national union via email but so far I have not heard anything. I am looking to join a union because I can barely make ends meat. I have worked in this field for over ten years and just this last year, I am making 60k a year but I am still struggling. Like most people, my insurance is worthless. I emplore you, please help. I have done my part and will continue to do so but I can't force the union to connect with me. I work for a company that doesn't support a union shop. At the company that I work for converts overtime into PTO instead of extra money.

Thank FDR for all of it... especially FIAT, then socialism, and finally an unconstitutional, criminal government. Inflation has been constant since 1939, and it's not going away...
