Longer sight radius and more velocity. That's basically what the Glock 34/35 deliver over the still outstanding Glock 17/22. Does it make a difference in real world shooting? Absolutely. In over a DECADE of testing, I have found the Glock 34 to inspire even more confidence in stressed shooting drills. It is a go-to combat handgun for me and we have bonded. It's fast, accurate, lightweight, and reliable. Just keep rocks out of the slide. Inside the video I'll show LOTS of G34/35 practical shooting, discuss POU, reliability, value, firepower, accuracy, and do a quick run down of ergos, takedown, and accessories. This is an all time Top Ten Go To War Pistol and always will be.//////////////////Nutnfancy Likability Scale: 10 out of 10

Whoa. Blows my mind the things people say on the net. First off you don't know what this man did over there. Second let me tell you, when our guys on the floor know that the guys on with the birds are coming to back them Up pick them Up or drop gear. Its a feeling like your big bro showed Up to your gun fight in a tank. Show some respect.

I found it amusing that you turned "go to war" into the acronym "GTW", despite the fact that "gee tee double you" has more syllables.

Nutn I am totally with you in regards to the G34... Now I have three Glocks and man do they get a work out... ( thank God for Reloading ). .. I like the Warren Tactical Sights on my G34 and use Trijicon HDs on the G19 and G17... Glock on Bro~!

I really do love the 34. It's a great shooter, accurate and balanced. However, I'm not sure I'd trust it in combat as the cut out on the slide is just an invitation for dirt and debris to enter and cause a malfunction

Enjoyed the beginning of the video hilarious!! I've only shot one Glock in my life and that was today its was a Refurbished Gen 4 G35 from the Kentucky State Police my brother bought. I have always been skeptical of Glocks and the fan boys get on my damn nerves. When practicing my handgun skills I shoot at a 2"x3" swinging steel plate at 20 - 25 yards using my old CZ82 and I do ok with it and hit the target probably once or twice every 12 rounds or so. I was always taught if you aim small you miss small so that's what I practice and I really enjoy shooting very small targets at a decent distance..shooting something 7 yards away is pointless to me and no fun. When I fired my first 9 rounds with the G35 I had 9 consecutive hits . I was totally blown away at how easy the G35 was to put on target with accuracy I have not experienced in most of the hand guns I've shot. I hate the fact the fan boys might be right on this one..lol

Great video, I have been every day carrying my glock 35 with a switched out LoneWolf barrell conversion into 357sig for about 2 years now. I love it and never have any issues with imprinting or being uncomfortable. The longer sight radius, and increased velocity that the longer barrel gives you are no brainers for me, and the 34 and 35 are actually no longer than an standard 1911 pistol also.

I have been carrying the 35 as my dept issued weapon since 2000. I have never had a malfunction or ever felt outgunned. At 50 yrds and beyond this pistol shines. Wish they had a 10/45 version simply because the frame fits my big mitts better.

For faster draws, sight alignment, hits, lighter weight, much better concealability, and always carried as I GTW each day that I step out the front door- Glock 23 @ 31oz. The G34/35 are 33/36oz. loaded. And of course, the subs are lighter and less endowed...An aluminum 1911 at 32oz is only 7oz heavier with 7rds.of 230gr. ball. Not a back breaker...Like u said, it works for me.

It is just the series # from 17 to 39 in the order of production. It makes it easy to identify because a 9mm compact for Glock could be a compact 19, sub compact 26. Their 45. come in both a subcompact and a subcompact slim-line so to be precise you use the production #, gen, and if its different frame type/length.

Yes just pull the slide off drop in the 9mm barrel and put in a 9mm mag. I use the G17 mags. The replacement barrel is $100. If its ok with Nutn I will post a link otherwise just look for lonewolf products on the net.

alright, I'll get one. I've resisted Glocks because I'm contrarian by nature but I'm addicted to gun "collecting" and want a new one every month... so I'll add this to the line up. Though I'll probably still go to my P229 in emergency.

The Punisher slide plate is the cheese, but I've bought several sets of Heinie sights. I still maintain that the crisp pull you get with a polished trigger bar and 5 pound connector is better than the creepy pull you get with a minus connector.

Some parts that belongs to Gen 3, 2, 1, Gen 4 cannot use them as spare parts. And you can equip your Gen 3 glock with that special spring Gen 4 has.
@AluminumStud

You really don't have to worry about slide locks as a lefty since you can just "slingshot" the gun's slide into battery from a locked back position. I do this with pretty much all handguns even though I shoot right handed. You will just have a hard time locking the slide open without an empty mag inserted, but that won't affect your self defense effectiveness.

40 is relatively new compared to 9, and the Hague Convention dictates that in war, ammo must not destroy but be ball in order to only remove the target from the field. ergo for "war", 9 is fine. for protection and LEO use, 40 is being adopted quite a lot (albeit slowly, which is normal for gov't)

Like my gen4 23. I never liked the smith ergonomics ... but the para gi expert is my other go to ... but I used the 1911 in the military. I know what you mean ... there isn't a perfect gun ... it's what you are comfortable using. CCW ... I was happy to have the 1911 ... I live in the sticks ... bit pit bull launched on me on the way to my night job. He stopped at the last second due to, I believe, realizing staring down the barrel of a 1911 wouldn't work for him.

Quality hard cast bullets won't foul a Glock polygonal barrel or any other type of barrel but lead bullets normally will. People using pure lead "cowboy" loads had some cracked barrels, which is where that warning originally comes from. If you're seriously worried about it, Lone Wolf makes some good barrels (better than the Glock OEM ones). I'd say upgrade just for the better barrel, not because of any supposed issues with lead fouling.

The only thing I don't like about any glock is the fact they don't want you shooting cast bullets through them. Glock should change the rifling in their barrels in my opinion like a springfield, but if you have plenty of ball ammo it don't matter.

Not lying about being able to put 1000's of rounds through a Glock. I bought a police turn in from EPSO that had been shot so much that the raised area of the trigger bar for the firing pin safety was starting to mushroom. Gun still ran like a champ. One note on Lone Wolf barrels though. A Glock barrel seems to eat just about any type of round, where LW can be picky on the bullets shape. IE: .40 S&W Has major issues with truncated rounds, but works fine with RNFP.

I was tossed up between getting a Glock 35 and 27 or the M&P 5-inch Pro and Compact in .40... went with the S&Ws. Just favored the M&P trigger, especially after the Apex upgrade, as well as the rail on the Compact. The .40 is nice, and the longer barrel definitely brings out the most out of the pistol. Add an X-Grip to the Compact, and I have all the options I could want out of the M&P platform (not that stoked on the Shield, so won’t be picking one up).

the 45ACP is nice, it's good, but i think many tests are showing the 357Mag to be superior - but there's even less handguns chambered for it than the 45! so that kinda sucks. as you learn, look at the cartridge as well as the pistols that are available for it. the 45ACP is mostly in a 1911 platform (yes, there are others), while a 9mm can be had in a ton of handgun varieties (as can a .40 which is very good). i think a 10mm is equal to 357Mag, but VERY few handgun choices for that.

Finally switching my Glock 'fleet' over to NON-polymer glock factory sight's, and love straight-8 style sight's, but they just don't have enough contrast for me. After LOT'S of looking around, talking to friend's, shooting buds and researching I ordered a couple set's of green/green w/yellowish-green luminescent outline around front tritium (Trijicon make's/install's Ameriglo's vial's, VERY CRISP those Trijicon tritium vials) and going to put first set's on G3 FDE G17 and either G3 FDE G19 or more likely G4 G26 as it's my EDC and most important along w/G17 and G4 G21 (HD go to's!), and POSSIBLY on my G4 FDE G34. Cannot wait to chunk these factory plastic.'dovetail fillers'. Then finish the rest of the line-up w/same. Decided to splurge on them, a tank-like front sight tool and MGW rear sight tool, which'll pay for themselves after a few installs as local smith charges $40 to install! and I ordered everything from Midway & Optics Planet w/$20 pres day sale, +extra $30 off Midway as a thank you after they accidentally cancelled my order, got $100 MGW tool for $60! i believe it has something to do with the patent numbers. i heard the glock 17 was called that because it was gaston glock's 17th patent in the completed gun or something along those lines. not sure if they kept that convention but that's just how they decided to name em i guess.
