Glock 43x vs 48 Review 

Just some info for anyone curious: you can sand the polymer off one side of a G19 mag and it will reliably function in a G43X/48. Remove it from the right side if you’re right handed. Remove it from the left side if you’re a left handed shooter so that the mag catch works.

If you don't have enough faith in Shield Arms Mags to carry a spare Shield Arms Mag, you shouldn't carry them at all.

I roll with my 43X MOS with a 507 K co-witnessed with some Night Fision Costa sights, Talon Grip Pros, a TLR 7 Sub, with a Pure Tungsten Guide Rod from the GlockStore. She is my main carry, but sometimes I run my 48MOS into the mix as well. Same set up as my 43X only I removed the 507 K and use some XS F8 sights.

I did the same. Started with the 43X and added the 48MOS slide and a 43 frame.

0:50 📝 With metal shield mags, should use metal shield mag catch/release. Metal catch on plastic mags or plastic catch on metal mags will wear the plastic out and CAUSE reliability issues!

Just wondering why you film your videos vertically? It makes it really hard to watch on tvs or anything that isn’t a phone.

Man I just traded my 43x for a g26 XGRIP and a M&p 2.0. I couldn’t turn that offer down but I miss my 43x a lot. The 26 is great to tho

G48 mos was my first purchase. After 1250+ rounds I’m now realizing I want a full size instead, looking at the walther pdp 5” going to be renting it soon, very excited.

Disassemble guns through a camera and still faster than that ATF weapons expert.

48 mos is a better choice because it has better recoil and accuracy.the 43X is snappier.

Not sure if I’m liking either of them yet.

You can't use OEM mags and shield mags in the same gun. They require different mag catch (polymer or metal)

Metal on metal or plastic on plastic for the mags. Your mag release will get sheared if you use the metal mags.

Sorry, that makes no sense to carry an oem and a Shield for reliability. You either trust it or you don't. If you don't, don't carry it. I carry Shield magazines and have no issue. Have 4 of them. You should only carry oem if you don't trust it.
