Great list. We literally laughed when we first read the Doctor's coat. It only adds 1. We probably wouldn't take it even it doubled the value of med packs. The chest slot is too valuable and most of the time the med packs aren't used for healing. Sometimes it is just used for stamina or movement.
Focusing Ray is actaully super strong on the berserker. Its one of the few ways to actually get him to 52 hp. Plus coupled with helix ring it can become a 50hp heal.
I could not agree more on this list. The doctors coat seemed awesome at first until i realized my team uses it for longevity or in between rooms to just cap but the difference between 4 and 5 is non existent. They used it more for move 2 than healing lol
Tried the imposing blade in a spike shield build with the red guard. I thought it would be cool but after 2 scenarios found out it was simply 50g down the drain.
The Tinkerers Focusing Ray would be really great for the three Spear. It is really nice for him to do a heal of 10 every 2-3 turns. It does not make this item so much better, and way to limited, but it is still good this way.
Wow. I think playing with 4 people creates a radically different metagame. With a Sunkeeper and Sawbones, I ate medpacks like M&Ms and the +1 for no reason was awesome. I would rank it in top 5 rather than bottom 5. Conversely, no mention of the Elementalist boots?? Generate 1 mana on a Move 5, for a character with like one Move 5 card?
To each their own I guess! Healing is probably the worst ability and giving a +1 is generally not very good especially since it's only for med packs, but if you are really using the med packs and in 2 player I could see how it would be somewhat helpful. The boots didn't make it to the worst list because they are actually quite useful. There are a bunch of moves where you can get to move 5 by consuming an element so the boots allow you to change that element to whatever you need for the next turn if you don't have a use for it. They are much better than almost everyone thinks, even though they are still not amazing. Definitely not bad though. Thanks for watching!
