You would think with packaging like that they would figure out a way to make it refillable. Seems wasteful. Especially when hand cream is used up pretty fast.
I'm not sure it would ever be easily refillable because I imagine the opening is quite small inside, but apparently some people have tried it! 👍 Given it's recyclable, I do hope they can sell replacement pods in future x

I got the hand cream the second it came out. I absolutely love everything about it... except the scent. Every time I apply it, it smells like birdseed to me. I honestly wish they would have made it unscented. But I do really love the texture of it. Also I love how you matched your nails to the packaging! Very cute.
I'm with you Jillian, sadly not my favourite scent (I'll be seeing if I get a birdseed vibe next time I use it 😂) but I can understand why they chose to match it to their perfume x

I know Glossier says it’s not reusable but when you pop off the top (dark pink part) you can squeeze inside your favorite cream using either a needleless syringe or a ziplock bag 💕 I’ll definitely be refilling mine when its empty with Caudalie’s hand cream because it smells so heavenly 🍇

I noticed that mine didn't feel completely full either Isabel, but if the pod was packed with product it wouldn't have been as squeezy when you first start using it. I wasn't able to measure it but I assume (and hope) there's still 50ml inside 👍 x
Love Glossier of course, but your nails look great too!! I love that shade... It makes me want to purchase something from Olive & June, but I never do my nails, so I guess I'll save my money to buy more Glossier products 😂 x

With what you were saying about the bottle being kind of like the chanel bottle, well I just wanted to say that on Pinterest I have seen ads for glossier (not the handcream, I think it might have been for eye shadow or brow product) with the chanel hand cream in the ad. Maybe they were hinting at something?

Compared to the other hand creams you presented towards the end, I also think it’s worth mentioning that Glossier is cruelty free and in my mind that makes up for the price difference, as well as the packaging and experience, etc.
yessss thanks matilda i love your videos so much! i bought the hand cream pretty soon after it came out because i’m a glossier addict lol. i actually love the scent! i’ve found that it’s not overwhelming but i do get a few wafts of it now and again which i like😊 my mum also loves the scent and often steals my glossier you perfume, now she’s gonna be taking this too!🙄😂
In my experience purchasing Glossier’s new hand cream, I thought the scent was unbearably strong and perfume-y so I had to give it to my mom-she seems to like it. I go for more of a fresh scent that is not too strong so it was kind of a let-down when I didn’t like the smell of the lotion. I absolutely love the packaging though!!!

Loved the packaging of this hand cream but honesty little underwhelmed. If you want this to smell like you, you would be slightly disappointed. Also this have no refills, but I guess that’s pretty standard.
I don't think I'll buy the hand cream, it'd be nice to receive as a gift but there are still so many makeup/skincare products that I haven't tried from Glossier that I would choose over a hand lotion (especially when L'occitane Shea Butter hand cream exists). I've tried 4 of the 6 lipstick shades so trying Like and Leo will likely come next.

I *still* cannot figure out what Glossier You smells like, even after all this time. When I got the bottle, the cardboard packaging it came in was wet so to me, it smells like wet cardboard but I think that is more my memory associating it with an experience. It’s not floral, it’s not woody, it’s not oriental, it’s not fruity...damn it, what is it?! 😂
I did not like this !! It had a very strong smell. My man said it smelled funky !! I’m obsessed with the “You” scent, I’m on my 3rd bottle and I have the solid but this doesn’t smell the same!! I’m so bummed
Have you tried the hand cream from Sol de Janeiro? I don't think I've seen you mention the brand (maybe you have and I just missed it!) but the scent is very specific and I'd be interested in your thoughts on the products.
