The Glossier “You” fragrance was launched in 2017, and “I Don’t Know What” by D.S. & Durga was launched in 2018 - so “You “is not really an OG, especially when you realize Le Labo launched “Another 13”, Juliet Has A Gun “Not A Perfume” and Eccentric Molecules “Molecule One” have been around longer than both of them.

Actually the og fragance of this style is Molecule 01, quite nice and versatile for everyday use, also pretty similar is Not a Perfume by Juliette has a Gun! But if you want to try the best one in my opinion is Another 13 by Le Labo, great durability and projection, an addictive smell that gets a lot of compliments!

I loooove the solid perfume of the Glossier You. I'm super sensitive what I put on my skin in terms of scents and I find I have so much more control over how it applies. Plus it's even cheaper than the full bottle and you can buy refills 👌

I tried Dua's versiond of DSD and I love it. It does have a strong opening for me when I wear it and it stays through out the day but then I get whiffs of some sort of citrus to my nose. I love it, although I do think more men would wear this.

Hi Tabitha! I just sampled Glossier's 'You' and loved it...and hated it. I can't smell it after ten minutes!!! It's not even a solid 'close to the skin' fragrance. It just completely dissolves and cannot be detected unless I crush my nostrils against the area I sprayed. What on Earth is going on with a fragrance this poorly done?! I find it so insulting as commercial offering that I feel anger. Can you or anybody else recommend a 'your skin but better' fragrance similar to 'You' that actually has lift off, y'know, decent projection and great longevity without just totally evaporating within 10 minutes. If this fragrance performed well it would be a modern classic. As it stands...
