I love D.S. & Durga! finally some one is giving it some love. Bow Maker was the first niche fragrance I ever smelt. You've sold me on Amber Kiso, I'd love to get my nose on that
Agreeee about amber kiso! It’s 100% the only scent I’ll use. Nothing like it out there . Makes the Tom Ford line smell like something out of a Walgreens or cvs.
As a sample lover, this is an amazing opportunity for someone to test out a house that seems to have a lot of cool fragrances to check out. I'd probably enjoy testing out Bowmakers, since I live in an area where maple syrup is a big thing, and maple isn't used nearly enough in fragrances. I've never tried any of these, but Debaser definitely sounds the best to me. I love Guess 1981 Indigo with that fig/coconut combo and I'm sure this is even better. Thanks for entering me in the giveaway!
Bought burning barbershop a while ago, just love it. Got debaser last week, has quickly become a fav. Named after a song by the pixies which was a homage to a salvadore dali surrealist short film from 1929. In that film a woman gets her eye sliced by a knife and then the promo pic for the fragrance sees a woman about to get the fragrance sprayed in her eye. Full circle homage. Would love the sample pack, can't get cowboy grass where I am and would love to try it.
I have a 10ml roll on bottle of debaser and it’s great. I’ve tried notorious oud and Mississippi medicine and I liked those a lot as well. Of the ten, I think I’m most interested in Cowboy Grass. Great video!

I love the way debaser sounds the combination or fig and coconut milk are up my alley. I also love vetiver and birch tar in fragrances. You have made me expand my collection to about 100 Niche/Indie/Designer great content sir!

I started out with D.S. & Durga's Burning Barbershop, quickly added Bowmakers and rate these two highly. Sir was next, great, great drydown. Cowboy Grass was ok, a bit wishy-washy so sold it. Now also have El Cosmico and Mississippi Medicine. The El Cosmico, not too sure about, challenging maybe? Think it would do well in a hotter and drier climate than the UK in a wet and dull autumn. Mississippi ... mmm its said to be a cross between Bowmakers and something else I don't recall ... if it's in the middle, maybe thats why its not quite there as a 'full' fragrance? You seem to like it but for me, top three owned out of the six ... Bowmakers, Burning Barbershop and Sir. So I'd really like to try the ones I'm missing and look to add the next one or two that are 'great' ... your samples would be awesome!
I have not tried any from this house and many sound like great fragrances. I would probably like to first try DS with the oud, rose and lotus. Thanks, nice review.

I think Mississippi Medicine is what I would reach for! Love all of the different wood notes and the story behind the name. Who doesn’t want to smell like death cult from the 1200s?
I know your comment is 3 years old, but just recently I tried a few of these scents and I looked up some videos to get second opinions.. Mississippi Medicine is EXTREMELY strong. just one single spritz and my eyes were watering. it is very very cedar wood forward, and it lasts all day and then some.
out of all the niche houses i just heard about recently, this house definitely grabbed my attention the most. i would like to try burning barbershop the most for sure - sounds very unapologetic!
bowmakers for me seems the most interesting. When I was little I used to open my moms violin case and I loved the smell of the bow rosin. I heard it's a mix of that, the wood and the polish.
As per advised, i wanna try amber kiso...eversince i trust your taste. All of the perfumes that i bought were out of youtubers' opinion. So glad that you help us what to buy and what to expect. Thanks in advance Ash..hahahahaja
2 year old video but just recently got into bowmakers and definitely hooked. MM,Kiso both sound amazing also. It's so hard when there's so many amazing niche perfumers out there. I'm easing up on my CDG incense series addiction for d.s Durga 😂 it's not easing up on my wallet though..great review btw even though I'm a little late.
Wow tough to say which I'd like most. I'm torn between the 2 Ambers. I'm a huge fan of Amber...I'd say the Kiso possibly. I'd love the chance to sample the house. Thanks Ashton ✌️
Awesome overview! Amber Kiso sounds the most interesting. I've tried Radio Bombay, Mississippi Medicine and Bowmakers. I like Mississippi Medicine the best of those.

Not gonna lie, before this video I was thinking Bowmakers had a slight edge on Burning Barbershop but now that you mention Amber Kiso.. hmm, that Hinoki note sounds appealing..

Bowmakers has been on my wish list since I see the most reviews on it. But I think most interesting to me, without bias to reviews and more my personal liking would be Debaser.
First time hearing about the Durga line .sounds like an incredible line with a lot of great fragrances .I would definitely choose the cowboy grass one .

Fromm the video I would love to try Amber Teutonic but although not mentioned in the video from their web site the Rose Atlantic sounds really interesting as I have been looking more closely at floral scents as of late.
