I made a gluten free deep dish chicken pot pie last night . Used Bob"s Red Mill flour for the biscuit dough and I use either lard or shortening when I make them cos that's how my mom and Grandma always made them

That looks so good! I don’t have celiac, but it is interesting that the company can use something from the wheat grain in this blend and it’s still considered gluten free….🧐. It seems counter intuitive. Was your wife ok after eating this?
yes, it's seems strange to me as well. I guess the protein (gluten) in the wheat is where the celiac auto immune and intolerance issues come from the starch is it's own components. My wife doesn't seem to have any reactions to using this blend that we've noticed. I'm hoping that a few Celiac viewers will chime in and say if they've used it or not.
