Because youre expecting Kirk to win games which in terms will put you late in the draft. So please tell me whats the falcons option(s) after kirk. Nobody really thought Penix Jr will be sitting for 4-5 years because Kirk Cousins contract is really a 2 year deal. The Packers weren’t winning anything outside of the regular season. Jordan Love is a league average quarterback who lost and was outplayed by Desmond Ridder last year. Frankly , if the Packers got Tee Higgins instead with that pick, maybe they would have won something. The Penix pick was awful and built on failed logic.
