Thanks for that great video! i would love to see you play "the Old" Skaven with Rattlingguns and Warplightning. Just overcharge it all and have fun with it. I am a bit grumpy that there still selling 30 year old Models for full price. but Seeing a Warhammer legend like you playing with old models and just having fun would be awsome!

Huh. Thanquol's warpstone amulet only specifies at the end of the combat phase. Not just yours, but the opponents as well. Nice

Plague censer bearers got a glow-up with 2 wounds and D2 and an extra attack. Still very squishy but might make it into melee now and do some work!

I completely missed this on launch. I have so many skaven from 8th, but never got into Squigmar. I may have to give it a chance. So many models between Skaven, elves, & dwarves just sitting around.

I've said this before but I'm legit jealous of Eldar players and their beautiful line refresh, while I sit here seething that my metal rats keep destroying eachothers paint job and ruining the resin sculpts

Is not strange they only axed the single remaining Finecrap model from Sylvaneth and didn't touched the Skaven range; half of it is still Metal and Finecrap.

Most of the old miniatures are STILL METAL! I ordered Skaven a few months ago and my Arch-Warlock and Ratling guns, and skryer acolytes are all metal. this line needs some new plastic love.

Get the models you want to get, but I can only recommend kitbashing the Skryre units. Get the Bloodbowl-Skaven, some Ork guns and greenstuff and get yourself cool weapon teams. Get some ghoul hands, airsoft pellets and Skaven warriors for some improv acolytes.

I like their verminlord the best I think! His movement shenanigans are great. That said they’re a light hitters unit… but it really feels like the book is pushing away from the mono-clan play if previous into the old combined arms of Warhammer Fantasy.

@@GuerrillaMiniatureGames Much of the old Skaven range is still in metal. Skryre Acolytes are 1 metal mini per blister for $15US. For a battleline unit! It’s bananas! Fortunately there are some really excellent 3rd-party ranges.

@@GuerrillaMiniatureGames Well, I don't think they ARE casting in metal. When I bought one, it was in packaging that was clearly ancient, with a Warhammer Fantasy label that then had a sticker put over it. But, it did have a circular base, so I forget how exactly that worked. Aside from the design team's love of using tiny fonts which I was hoping 3rd ed books would stop, the new battletome looks fun with a few new tweeks. Skritch Spiteclaw and gang from Underworlds are not available to buy, seeing them in the new battletome is strange, maybe they plan to repackage and rerelease them when the new Deathmaster becomes available as a single miniature. I would like to see you build a Skaven collection (my favourite things to paint) with options for different builds, with your love of older miniatures, I can see you throwing in some old classics like warlords and greyseers. Yes yes.. make it so!

Forgeworld minis usually have a rules update after the battletomes. The current points and Warscroll for Warpgnaw are in the app or in the downloadable pdf
