Loving this information! If anyone with a GMK87 has issue with the F keys giving unpredictable results, this firmware update fixes the F1 - F12 keys wonkiness! 🎉👍

Thank you so much! I couldn't´t get VIA to work on my new GMK87 for hours. That was the fix to get it connected.

Thank you very much. I have an issue with my GMK87, sometimes it does not wake up from sleep after a keypress, it does however wake up from sleep whenever turning the knob. Any ideas for what the cause could be? It is connected with 2.4ghz all the time, wire used only for charging and have not tested it on more devices yet (will do).

Same here, went back to my GMK67 because of the Win/Alt issues when using a Mac. Glad to know they have finally fixed it. Will apply the update ASAP!

Hi, I have the issue where the fn key and menu key won't work on my gmk87 have you had that before. I assumed it would be bent pins so I pulled them and no the pins are fine. My via also won't see the keyboard properly so I can't map the keys or control the rgb. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm very new to keyboards.

I had the win/alt swapped keys when I got my gmk87, I did the mac/win switch and it never came back. Odd that it kept on happening with your board!

I cannot get the VIA app or website (using Chrome) to 'see' the GMK87! I have tried BT and USB (connected directly to motherboard and not via a hub) on both PC and Mac! Chrome has it showing and I give permission, but then nothing happens. I have updated the firmware as per your download (thanks) and managed to update the clock (thanks again). Any help please as I really want to set macros for work!

Dude, thank you!!! I was searching for this for a while. Unfortunately, my keyboard came with a soldering problem, and not all LEDs turn on anymore but now at least I got VIA working properly again.

HEY! Looks like you must review comments before they go live on your videos since I don't see the one I posted earlier this afternoon. (Smart!) Anyways, please ignore my question about the date and time getting reset after the firmware update. It's all resolved now. I used the new Image Custom Tool to load some new gif files, and that fixed the clock and date issue! Thanks all you show us on your channel!
